Besides the oversized coat which doesn't look so bad, I think she looked lovely and I think that is a very nice way to wear ankle length pants (Letizia should take note). I like her hair this dark, its a nice change and makes her look softer/younger. It does need to be taken care of or it'll turn orange/red which wouldn't be nice.

I can't believe how much her look has changed (for the better) with the darker hair. In the second pic she reminds me of Heidi Klum.

Yeah, she looks very wonderful. I love those pictures from svenksdam. She looks straight into the camera and smiles. That was nice and what a kick I got. Beautiful staring eyes and burning reddish hair. Can't beat that. Thanks for sharing Iceflower.

I guess she has lost some weight too?
I don't like the reddish brown at all. Too artificial.
Dark brown with hazel tone could be better and close to her natural color.

If somebody choses do dye the hair without any highlights, its crucial to do it on a regular basis in order to avoid ugly roots showing.

Madeleine's hair is dyed in one artificial looking colour only without highlights and the roots are already showing - doesnt look good at all.

The blonde was awful but this colour is starting to look awful too.

I agree there is trouble with this hair color too, but as you noted in your last post, it could have turned orange when dyed to get rid of the blonde. Her hair is not in very good condition, that we can see in close ups, and when you try to dye damaged hair, the results are not the same as with virgin hair. It will grow out.

She looks fabulous anyway.

Sure. Take a look at especially the second photo. Strapless dresses are very hard to fit because every woman has a different distance between her waistline and her bustline, strapless dresses emphasize this.
Most of the bridesmaids seem to all have an above the natural waistline waist in this dress, that's probably because some of them need a longer stretch from waistline to bustline. That's why some fit and some don't. (Mad's waist looks right.
The bride seems to have a natural waistline in her dress which then doesn't match the bridesmaids' but she could have used a little more material to push things up, this way, she looks dragged down. In fact, her bust looks very loose right under the bust and seems floating...
It's hard to explain unless I had one of them in front of me, with pins in my mouth, pushing things around

She really looks great in black and the change in hair colour has taken years off her age. I love the fascinator, it has a unique stlyle.

Madeleine hasn't looked this good in ages.

Love the look on Maddy. My Mother had the same outfit (including very similar hat made of black feathers) somewhere around 1960 (give or take a year or two).

The suit was made from a Vogue pattern.

The dress is very matronly and the headpiece makes her look weird.

Madaleine looks really pretty and elegant. I like the style of the neckline. I'm not totally convinced about the headpiece but the overall look is good.

I am no fan of the fake fur thingy but overall Madeleine looks great, her best outing in months! I am glad the barbie days seem to be gone.

She looks her best in months IMO, the black dress is very elegant and I like the simplicity of the overall look. The shrug wouldve been nice in fall or winter but not end of summer.

Two good outfits for Princess Madeleine - an elegant suit during the day and a very pretty dress at night, both with nicely subtle detailing. The tailored, sleek style is much better for her than the layered look she tended to prefer.
In both cases, the accessories could have been more appealing - the headpiece is not flattering, and neither is the shrug worn over the dress to the opera.
