Looks like a posh prom dress to me.
 
Very 'princessy' dress. It fits her perfectly, IMO, and the color looks great against her tanned complexion. Necklace & earrings are to die for! :in_love:
 
Ive said it before, Princess Madeleine is one gorgeous girl. Dress is very girly but if a princess can't wear it than who can? Jewels are stunning!!
 
She always looks like a fairytale princess. This was no exception.

I totally agree. The color of the dress was lovely on Madeleine and the necklace was an added bonus to the whole effect.

Madde played her role perfectly. Joyful and supportive for her sister, elegant, understated, and professional at all events. And she got the best revenge, she looked beautiful at every event...every inch a royal princess. I don't know how she pulled it off, but without overshadowing her sister, she had everyone asking themselves what kind of dumbass left this lovely creature?

Maybe she is a shrew in a relationship, maybe she is not the model princess/girlfriend/fiancee, maybe she is too clingy/overbearing...but this week was also a triumph for her. She was the epitome of everything needed by a royal princess this week. I pray she finds someone worthy of that.
 
I usually dislike this expression, but Princess Madeleine looked indeed like a 'fairytale princess'. Perfectly put together from head to toe. What an impressive gown, the color suited her well and she looked fresh and young. Hair and make up looked wonderful as well and of course the jewelry... :wub:
 
Seriously what the heck did Madeleine wear to the wedding?!? Soooo disappointed.

Whatever about her not being aorund for ages in the run up to her sister's wedding,cancelling her apperances and depriving all of the royal wedding starved public of another royal wedding..She let down this big fan with THAT dress! Yuck!

She looks like blue cabbage..although it is a very nice shade of blue..aanndd her hair and make are super pretty.

Why didn't she wear that nice gown from the government dinner the night before? She looked stunning in that.

I thought Madeleine looked beautiful as always.
The only critique I could give for her wedding gown is that the bluish color is a "cheap" color. That shade of blue really brought down the elegance of the dress.
She almost looked like she was going to the prom.
 
Didnt think Madeleine looked her best at either wedding events - the blue colour on her is not the best and think she looks better in stronger colours. She did go for the fairy tale princess look but with her blonde hair and Florida tan it came across abit like a 'Barbie' doll.
 
The blue dress is fine, the colour is nice. But her hair and make up are not good. She has started to use a different make up, too hard for my taste.

Yeah her makeup doesn't look too good, emphasizes the creases, or maybe it's just a bad picture.

Nice dress, but not the best colour for her, and it makes her look like she has gained a lot of weight. She gets Victoria Silvstedt in my mind looking like this...
 
At least her make-up is more natural this time. I think she looks nice although the dress doesn't have the best colour and cut.
