you´re right maxima. She has lost alot of weght since then... but she was 14 at the time and now she´s 23. So its probably just natural loss of the puppyfat :)

The pic must be from 1998 (I had a boring summer job then and read all the mags on the market and was glad to see the whole RF on holidays after seeing hardly any pics of the Royal children in the first half of the year) and Madeleine was 16.
Yes, she was then chubbier. But then she decided to enter a certain gym and was suddenly super in shape.
As I get it Madeleine is a little glutton (esp. in winter) but she knows, when to stop and is always tip top in shape on the dot-when the bikini season starts.

Yes, I´m sure she works hard to stay in shape. Having a PT in the family could help :)
And as she has a past as a rider, she probably has a good fitness "base"

thank you for the updatehas anyone seen what designs she wears when using sunglasses

While Princess Madeleine doesn't do royal duties everyday but she does seem to recycle clothes often. Post away! :)

quite often... Svensk Damtidning has articles about their fashion every 6 week or something :)
The latest one I can remember were about how Madeleines favourite colour is blue. They had collected many photos, old and new ones, of her weaing different shades of blue

About "that dress", and I mean the red one: Frankly, whatever my physical state, I'd be loath to have to conversate with all these older male nobel laureates with over half of my you-know-whats hanging out for the world to see, vying for everyone's attention and distracting from the conversation. Yek, no thanks!

i must say it again the red dress is not the wost dress worn by a roya there has been more reaviling dresses worn by other royals

you said it. i cant believe she felt ok wearing it to that event. its impossible that she didnt know that she was going places no Bernadotte had gone before.

While no one can deny that the red dress was very revealing, I thought it was very pretty dress. I liked the beading and the design. I think Madeleine pushed up her assets for Nobel because the second time she wore it (for the first gala event in 2005 or something) her cleavage was much more subdued. But doesn't Madeleine have to get permission for the dresses and stuff she wears from the Royal Court at official events? But again, if those people are old men....

eewww...lets not think about that. the swedish court strikes me as pretty informal. i dont think there are lots of old men calling the shots. Elisabeth Tarras-walberg seems to call the shots for Victoria and she's a 50-ish woman.

i'm sure the dress was madeleine's own decision. (not a very good one imho) silvia and CG dont strike me as the kind of parents who'd send her back upstairs to change into something more modest.

i agree with you that it was a very beautiful dress. great color, great beading but unfortunately, i think that all got ignored in the attention for....

although both dresses were lovely, and looked lovely on her, i think they were both a bit revealing for such a formal event.

madeleine nobel dress 2005 in close up is great i think wonder if its her 3004 dress

Thanks Josephine! When put side by side, the fringe tiara has certainly made it's appearance to Nobel. The aquamarine tiara is so small that it doesn't make sense for her to wear it to another Nobel. All her dresses look better when she's standing up. I think she's done a pretty good job with dresses for each Nobel. Nothing was that terrible.

My she is a pretty girl. Thanks for putting all the pictures side by side. You can see how she has matured over the last 5 years. How old is she anyway?

Thanks,
Linda 85

Thank You sooooo much for the pics The Best Christmas gift so far haha

Actually I liked her best in 2000. Such a pretty girl, a dream, but as the years pass (I'm talking about these nobel pics ) she's turning into a living Barbie doll.

favorite dress: the red one is so sexy
tiara: 2001,2003,2005 ones :p
Hair: 2005 and 2003 ones
;)

seeing the photos side by side like this syou can see how she has chaged from a teenager to a young woman

Yes, you are right. It was a very romantic, princessy dress. I mean not a ball gown thing but quite nice. The light pink was nice. An accent of color.

Does anyone have a picture of this dress??
