I really liked this. It is an example of recycling that I like - she has mixed and matched what she wears with the skirt over the years, then put it away for a while, and taken it out again.
I love the crisp lines and colour of the jacket, whilst it has the ruffles at the bottom too

It's one of those Varela jackets 2007/2008 when he came up with these huge ugly zippers as "trademark". Thankfully it didn't last long.
The outfit is not bad, has been worn several times in various combinations, Letizia owns a similar jacket in black. I don't think that the fabric / colour of the jacket works well with the skirt - different shades of white - but still looks much better / professional than the recent casual outfits, so out of place when on official duty

The outfit is a repeat from Letizia's visit in Huelva back in April.

I like the scarf.
Especially when looking at the group picture, next to the Kings with Queen Sofia in her professional suit, it becomes evident that an ok casual outfit is so out of place for a royal event.

The pants are very ill-fitted, several sizes too big. There is no posture, Letizia looks like a little grey mouse / some assistant or Lady in Waiting for Queen Sofia, not like a future Queen. I wish she would stop wearing all these low quality casual clothes when on duty, it simply looks unprofessional.

I like Letizia´s jacket and scarf, and even the shoes. I think that a casual outfit like this is quite suitable to an event lilke this.

I like the scarf a lot. Not sure about the jacket, it looks too casual...Although I think that casual clothes are ok for this event.

I think Letizia's clothes were OK for the event, only I don't like her pants, either wasn't well tailored or too casual fabrics. But how many pants by Varela or Mango were tailored properly ? She probably needs to go back to wear Armani pants.
The King and the Queen had other acts, thus they dressed rather formally. The Queen looked quite overly dressed for the event. Felipe (jackets and pants are different colors) dressed more casually than taking his girls to school.

I liked this jacket and scarf!I find those pants & shoes quite inappropriate for a princess, though. But the most important thing is that her face, hair & smile were glowing!

IMHO Letizia's outfit was fine for this meeting, Sofia was the one who looked overdressed.

The colours of her outfit are natural and they look perfectly on Princess Letizia.

the dress and the belt have been repeated several times, it's one of the outfits that suits letizia perfectly. however, i don't like the combination with the cardigan, doesn't work for me at all.
much has already been said about letizia's shoes, imo this pair, the cheap looking plastic mango sandals, is right up there with the most ugly models she has ever worn

I like it. Nice to see this dress with another piece. I like the hair and yes, the shoes are horrible.

Not a bad outfit at all, like the fact the cardigan is matched with the belt.
Are cardigans in fashion or what? they are been seen on almost every CP.
Letizia's hair is at a lovely length, woul dbe nice if she kept it at this.
The shoes, well, they arent flattering and im sure she couldve matched teh outfit with something else.

I have always liked Letizia´s Chanel-style jacket, and that grey outfit suits Letizia very well.
Today´s dress has always been one of my favourites, and I liked the way Letizia combined it with the cardigan.

Wearing these horrid shoes for a fair about footwear amounts to a serious act of sabotage.

I agree with you and others, the dress combined with the cardigan looks very astonishing. The cardigan is tight enough for her and I like it rolled up a little bit on Letizia's hands. The belt is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen on her.!
It's a pity she decided to combined all this with such stripped shoes which definitely look cheap and tastless.... I wish Letizia made better choices, maybe she'll change them for more up to date shoes...

I really love her hair today and she doesn't look so thin in this outfit. And she should wear ballerinas more often.
