Dont like the outfit for an official visit. The pants look like jeans pants in dark brown the jacket is really casuall so is the top. Letizia has tons of suits or proper outfits which will be appropriate to wear to such an event.

She is leaving Madrid for Columbia, that is supposed to be a very long trip so she is wearing some confortable clothes, maybe then she will change clothes in the plane and for sure she has some other nice things to wear during this visit, to me those are just trip casual clothes.

I dont mind the outfit for the arrival - they both had come of a long plane journey and this was not the official welcome to the country which happens today but simply their arrival. Im sure she will be in a smart suit or dress today for the official aspect

IMO, it was an official welcome, with honour guards, and they were received by the Colombia's Foreign Minister, not only by the Spanish Ambassador.

Yes it was an oficial welcome indeed and when I first wrote my message I though those images were from the departure from Mardrid to Columbia I didn't expect that they were there already, so I think in fact that she should have change clothes.

I have just watched a video of the official welcome by the President of Columbia with Felipe and Letizia today and she is wearing her smart red suit which she wore a number of times last year

Letizia looks great in red! The beige/brown outfit was quite borring but appropriate..

At Juan's and etc. first communion I like the jacket very much and the pearl necklace but how mismatched that she wore GREY to it. She should have worn white, beige, creamy colors in stead ..

In addition to that, I think that purple/pink dress and shoes etc. is one of the best outfits she EVER wore ! I'm absolutely in love with the look. However the blue cheap looking ensemble from the day before was really cheap looking IMO ! And sloppy ...

THIS outfit, worn about a week ago now, was so beautiful ! Regal, stylish, just wow ! ALSO one of the best I think she has ever worn ..



I do think that some of the things Leti wear look bad on her because of how thin she is. For example she seems to be drowning in this Massimo Dutti Trenchcoat, it looks to big for her: Of course because she is so thin.

Thats a beautiful outfit (skirt & jacket) why add a scarf to it, it just looks too wrong. You have such an elegent outfit and you try to dress it down with a very casuall scarf which does not work.
