Do you think Letizia's reading this thread?;) I can't get over the sudden improvement in her daytime look.

Love the jacket with white top. Very simple and nice.

I really love the sparkly jacket. It adds some fun to the look. The top is very nice too. Letizia looks great.

Not a bad look but I think its a bit inappropriate for the a daytime event. The jacket is to sparkly. I know its an awards ceremony but a proper suit/dress/skirt and top would've worked just fine.

The event started at 18.30. The jacket and pants are recycled from the Prince of Asturias Award concert last October.

Looking at her outfits from Portugal...when Letizia gets it right she gets it right (even if everyone does not personally like it or would tweek it), but when she gets it wrong she gets it wrong!

Another look from today (June 1), from the European Heritage Awards Ceremony.

I wasn't sure whether to post it here, or evening look thread; the event appeared to be somewhere in the middle. Most other ladies were dressed more for a day event, so I posted it here. Anyway, Letizia looks wonderful. I like the clean lines, and the jacket which adds a bit of sparkle (literally) to the ensemble and makes a smooth transition from day to evening look.

I like the jacket very much. Very pretty, and she looks quite glamorous in it.

Something has seemed "off" to me about Letizia during the visit to Portugal, and not just her clothes. She doesn't seem engaged in the least. When she smiles, it's only with her mouth and not her eyes. Does that make sense? I realize we are looking at snapshots, but in so many of them she comes across as unenthusiastic about where she is and what she's doing.

I love the suit she has on for Armed force day. Really flattering on her, and her shoes are classic instead of clunky:)

Letizia looks great. I like her new suit.

I loved the suit she wore for Armed Forces Day on June 2nd but the black, sparkly jacket, worn the evening before, was a little bit too sparkly for me.

A very elegant and lovely suit!

The Armed Forces Day suit is wonderful. She looks fantastic. Hopefully she bought the matching pants to go with this suit too.

I really like the beige suit. Letizia looks very elegant.

This is a elegant, classic suit. Letizia looks really lovely.

I agree with comments thus far; Letizia's look on Armed Forces Day was lovely, elegant and classic.

Letizia was elegant, I really liked the suit. Shoes and purse were fine too.

the best one so far ; nice colors !

The outfit is fab but it screams "hair up", looked so much better at PoA awards. The combo casual hair with evening outfit (and the type of jacket is really evening) looks odd at this event.

The outfit at Armed Forces Day is spot on.

A prfect outfit for visting students!
Why?
I don't think I've ever seen students wearing or admiring this kind of clothes combo.

The cardigan (why does she always wear them a few sizes too small?) might have worked better with a top in a more contrasting color to bring out the somewhat odd crochet effect... regarding the belt I must agree with Duke of Marmalade, it's just tacky.
Jewel-colored top instead of cream, white light skirt instead of greige pants, and we'd have a nice spring outfit which would go with Felipe's suit and tie.

Its such a dull summer look IMO, its something I could see on a much older women. The underneath top was all wrong for me, its way too casual.
