Guess I'm odd one out here :flowers: but I would like to see a wee bit more color in these latest ensembles. The gray skirt from the other day and the gray pants are nice but I prefer to see a punchy colored blouse with them, maybe red or purple, just for contrast. She still looks great, though.

Letizia has looked sensational at recent engagements, like a polished and elegant princess of the times. It actually looks like she has undergone a transformation...I hope it is a permanent one! Perhaps there is too much gray, perhaps the outfits could be tweeked a little here and there, perhaps her hair could be different and the jewelry a little more present, but she is so much improved that none of that matters to me, especially if this is the style (not the old) that shall be refined over coming months.

Letizia´s last outfits have all been very good. Since we here in Finland use dark and grey clothes a lot during the autumn and winter, I don´t mind that Letizia uses clothes of different shades of grey. I like grey outfits.

Yes, somebody must have told her ;), another polished appearance in amn often recycled white suit with a recycled green shiny top and a matching purse. The beige shoes dont go well with the white suit.

Is this her engagement suit? it's beautiful.

I love the suit but not the top.

Now she's been dressing accordingly to her position. One can say she needs more colour, more jewelry, but nobody can say anymore she doesn’t look proper or isn’t dressed for the occasion. She also doesn’t look bored anymore on her job and smiling only does her good. But I have to tell that she hasn’t won me over again. She has bored me to death for some time and what had displeased me the most was her “looks” (clothes being just a symptom), even if she had been doing and saying what was expected from a crown princess. Queen Mum Elizabeth knew it all – smile!

She really has stepped it up! Her hair needs a make-over, however. It looks downright stringy. I agree that the color of her shoes are not a good match, but I like the style.

I agree. The suit is very nice. White is also great for a change, IMO. Not sure about the top and shoes, doesn't match too well. But all in all indeed appropriate and polished. I hope she keeps it that way now, fingers crossed.

I think Duke had a word with The Infanta Pilar over the summer :D

Letizia looks fantastic! I love the white suit with the teal blouse and nude heels.

She does look gr8! The beige shoes add another subtle color tone to the whie outfit. Good choice!

Now that she is wearing a lot of suits again, I am expecting to read complaints about how boring her clothes are. It is just a matter of time.

Finally Letizia!
Pant suits look really good on her. She looks more professional, and in command of her position.

Maybe she has been reading our comments...

The white suit is lovely even though recycled so many times. White is her color and the cut is very flattering. The only downside of the look is the t-shirt underneath, yes it does add color but the look makes it less appropriate, less dressy. A lovely shirt/printed top/chiffon or silk would've have looked lovely with the white.

I think it's the silk blouse from Mango she used to wear with her pink skirt. I like her haircut, I think straight, shoulder length hair suits her the best (like her old days on TV).

I like this grey top better.

Oh yes this is s stunning outfit. Good, flattering cut and very chic indeed. However a smart silk or chiffon blouse would have been much nicer than the "T" shirt she chose to wear underneath. I am also not too certain about the length of the trousers.

No, her engagement suit was from Armani, this suit was from Felipe Varela, she had it in 2007. That's probably one of the best suits made by Varela, but compared to Armani, the flow of the pants is not as good, Varela has been better at making pencil skirts (easier to make than pants).

With the critizism of the engagement outfit (no spanish designer, white pant suit too dominating for the occasion "wearing the pants") the Armani suit went and was never seen again.

Its hard to compare, the pants were different styles. The Varela pants look nice and really flattering but they were a touch too short and worn with the wrong shoes. I actually like the Varela suit more than the Armani one.

28-09-2011 Princess Letizia attended the opening of the 6th international seminar on language and journalism: "Journalism and the politically correct language" at Monasterio de Yuso in San Millan de la Cogolla, La Rioja, Spain

Suede jacket, shirt, skirt, shoes all recycled. The bottom looks nice and doesnt match with the top part at all. The suede jacket & pink top look odd, the latter clashes with the rest of the outfit incl the clutch. Kind of a mixandmatch desaster.

Strange combination but something that Letizia has accustom us:whistling:

I like the jacket, but don't feel as if it goes with the rest of the outfit. Don't like the skirt. Too many dots/flowers. Makes me slightly dizzy :dizzy:.

Yep, that's one big jumble of clothing that really doesn't look good together.
