I am exactly of the opposite opinion. I think she looks fantastic - the hat is the best I have seen today - except caroles which is very beautiful too.

The dress and hat fit perfectly and she carries them off more than well.

I agree, although I think we are in the minority, Justina:) I thought she looked elegant, and Letizia doesn't do elegant often enough. I loved the hat that she wore and thought it suited her and looked wonderful on her. Her shoes were classy instead of the big bulkly platforms that she favors. I love this dress! Very pretty.

I liked the hat and the dress. Letizia looked elegant. The dress appears to be an interesting shade of pink with little bit of peach.

Letizia was really lovely today. I like the style and the colour of the dress. The shoes are pretty. I don't know about the hat, is unusual see her with an hat. BTW she looked good

She looked pretty but the outfit missed a brooch, a simple string of pearls or visible earrings.

Yes I agree,I loved her gloves also .

In all I thought she looked quite elegant & I'm glad she tried something new.

I'm probably in the minority here but I'm such a nut for her wearing strong colors like red, that the pinkish hue of today's ensemble seemed too pale and washed out looking. The hat and gloves were a nice touch-guess I was hoping she'd be the perfect knockout like she was at Nic's wedding last summer!

I think Letizia looked very pretty today. The pink color was very attractive on her, and her outfit looked like it fit her well. I thought her hat was a nice compliment to her dress/suit, and she looked very appropriate for the wedding.

I finally saw a photo of Letizia's outfit at the Abbey...had to go routing round the blogosphere since there was virtually no coverage of foreign Royals arriving. :bang:

It was worth the wait...she looked so elegant and beautiful in that dusky pink and she was one of the few females whose hat I loved(the other was Charlene Wittstock)

Thank God she didn't wear one of those hideously ugly "fascinators"..hate those things!

I thought her dress was absolutely beautiful! Love all the embroidery and the tiny pleats!

Finally Letizia in a hat! :flowers:
Even in a boring hat. The dress is OK, makes her look pale, but not too skinny.

Her dress is pretty and feminine with all the decorations on it. A wider brimmed hat would work better with the outfit imo.

Varela is a very lucky man living off the fact that Letizia wears his designes without having to put too much effort.

The dust pink dress was quite nice but nothing I would call "creative" (other designers would have walked to London for the opportunity show off their designs at such an event). Varela has done lots of dresses in the same style with embroidery for Letizia, this one is just another colour and a different style of application:

The hat is very oldfashioned and boring too, very dowdy. Not sure about the gloves, the one Letizia was wearing was 5 sizes too big.

I think that the outfit at the wedding was purely fantastic. The colour was lovely and the details at the dress exquisite. The hat was beautiful and suited Letizia very well. She should use hats more often. Because Letizia is so tiny, a big hat won´t suit her.

The 1920-30´s look suits Letizia great.

The only similarity in them is the cut. The embroidery on the dress worn to the wedding seems to be made of thread, I liked the idea of the built in belt which was not used in previous dresses.

I thought Letizia looked beautiful at the wedding. The detailed embroidery on that dress was exquisite. The hat really gave the whole look a 30s feel.I'm generally bored to tears with Leti's style. But for the wedding she looked good. She was in my top 5 stylewise.

Oh, for me, she looks sweet sweet in that "old-rose" (german: altrosa) dress with matching hat, sweet sweet. And I loved the TV-film yesterday about their love-story.

Letizia's outfit it the wedding was not only lovely, classy but very appropriate. She did not try to upstage the bride.

Nice outfit, pants, blouse & necklace, all recycled. Hair looks nicely done too.

Felipe has shaved off his beard, too bad. I think it suited him well, gave him a bit of character and covered the growing double chin nicely.
Now he looks as bland as usual again, and with an unfortunate resemblance to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The attractive days have long gone.

Letizia looked very good today. As for Felipe, I´m so glad that he has shaved his beard, he looks 15 years younger now than at the wedding.

Letizia looks lovely, I'm glad Felipe shaved, he does look younger. I still think Felipe is gorgeous.

I was so pleased to see Letizia at the Royal Wedding, she looked very stylish and pretty in the dusty rose/pink outfit and I'm going to have things thrown at me, I loved her hat.:flowers:
Letizia looked lovely at the Vatican also.

Not a fan of black & white but this is a once look of how it can be done nicely. The necklace was a great addition to the look but it would've been nicer if it was a bit bigger so it added more color to the over all look. I love how the pants fit as well as the top with slightly rolled sleeves.

The more I look at Letizia's wedding outfit the more I like it. Its a hard color to wear unless you have some color. But....she looked really pretty.

I wish someone would sneek into her dressing room and hide those star earrings...Enough!!!
