In general,i like her caftans but I always hated this one.
It's too long and I don't like the combination of colors.I also think that the flowers on the top part are too big

http://s5.tinypic.com/2u4my46.jpgI don't like her hair, and make-up, but she is well dressed here

http://img204.imagevenue.com/img.php...6_122_72lo.jpg

this Teckheta is nice, this is a particular style, but not for her, she doesn't have the style to go with, she doesn't have the carure, the stature for this is a to "heavy" style for her
the most of the time she wears Caftan or Teckhcita wich seems to big for her....she should go toward lighter material , colors, or style

the teckchita would be beautiful on ===> http://s5.tinypic.com/2i7w86b.jpg

the suit is nice, but it was very tight on her that you could see her navel as seen here http://img156.imagevenue.com/img.php...627_701634.jpg

the whole things look busy and not matched well: yellow gold/white gold/pearls/diamonds jewels, busy motifs on the bag, shoes color ... and the collar of the suit. i must say it's not elegant at all to wear the high stand-up collar for such event. hopefully it isn't black, otherwise it would look as vampire or halloween costume

About the takchita of Chirac visit, I am not a specialist of Moroccan traditional dress, but for what I read the big flowers is the style of Rabat city, for me, it’s nice to dress all the styles of Morocco (even if personally I don’t like the too big flowers) Imo, the problem isn’t the big flowers but their colour that don’t match well with the green of the material (that is beautiful), I don’t like also the shape of her earrings, in other hand I think that the whole look could be average if she had a more refined make-up and hairdo (the make-up was really awful and the hairdo a mess), but like this, her look during this dinner was of bad taste.
In Thailand, the yellow dress was nice, but the cut didn’t suit her, the dress don’t fall nicely, imo because salma don’t have a nice waist curvature, and I don’t understand why she choose this bag, it isn’t loosy but don’t match with the dress. The brown suit of the departure was lovely and the color suits her, I like also her light make-up, the jewels were nice, but the necklace was in excess

i agree with you rosa about the takchita, the red-blue flowers don't much the light green or white sfifa, but you know those colors match well the french flag which is funny and amusing, but imo it should not be adopted by someone of high rank as a first lady. bcz it sounds like a carnaval not a reasonable idea.

for that dinner (and other occasions) the make-up was so excessive, like the one in fez festival with rania http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/1429/20077bf3.jpg
i must say that with salma features, excessive make-up don't look nice at all.

Zineb,I don't think that these colors match the french flag. For me,the color looks more as a green shade and not blue.
Yes,her make-up wasn't light but all the morrocan princesses tend to use too much make-up.At the same event, the other princesses were also exageratly made up.Only Hasna looked nice on this event
I specially hate the dark red lipstick they use even for daytime activities.

I love her chanel suits. The one with the pant suit was absolutly gorgeous.
Her outfits in Thailand were nice though wearing jewels with religious symbol is IMO innapropriate in a foreign visit for a first lady (specially when the hosts don't share you religious beliefs)
I also like her white and yellow jackets. But,I think she used too much jewels with the yellow one.

yes soraya, the fabric itself is green shade, but the rest is blue-red-white which is the same as french flag. The jewel are red and white. Her make-up has also blue eye-shadow, red lipstick and red blush fard, which is completely different of her sisters in law. yes meryem uses often more make-up than her sisters on evening events, but it's goes fine with her face and features, especially her lips and eyes. for salma face' shape and features, a heavy make-up takes off all feminity.

that's what i thought, it's not appropriate. no one there has any jewel with a religious symbol. and when you are going to party with all those jewel and make-up, i don't see the point from having god' name on a necklace

I liked these turquoise earrings, but not the choker. She shouldn't use all that glitter, she doesn't even need it.I don't mind at all when Heads of States wear jewels with religious symbols during their visits. For example,I would never like to see the Greek First Lady being "crucified" by the foreign media just because she wore her Cross during a state visit.Think about it.
