Opal thanks I remember when both those photos were taken and the good feeling around her fiorst marriage they gave a really super interview and it was just so well recieved she really is something.

The first photograph with the pale blue dress and the choker from Empress Marie Feodorovna of Russia's estate, it was a 50th birthday portrait I think. I really can"t believe that. I think she has to do a bit more with vivid make up and so; and then she looks very very young.
The pale blue coat has been worn over and over again.

I will admit this about Princess Anne, she has some of the best tailoring of any royal. Her jackets and suits fit beautifully. The blue coat and shirt are very nice, too bad about those shoes (of course I bet they are comfortable). And for her to have 2 grown kids, she's got some great legs! And the rest isn't bad either.

I totally agree with you, Tilla, that's surely one of the very special,
likeable qualities of Princess Anne ?

Another look which reminds me on her late great-aunt Princess Mary, I can't help myself. :flowers: I think the colours are lovely, the hat is nice, the scarf as well - very elegant!
The boots are a bit clunky, though.

Princess Anne looks very nice indeed this Christmas.

It's a lovely powder blue coat. And a nice hat to go with it. I like how she keeps the scarf together with a pretty brooch. A nice added touch.

Wow, Anne actually looked elegant. I adore her coat and hat. Simple, elegant and not overly done.

Princess Anne looks lovely in the all black outfit. I'm assuming she's attending a memorial service of some sort?

She does look elegant.

Super elegant. I love how her hat matches the collar of her coat, and her gloves matches her purse. Well done!

Waterfront Museumand opened Hazel Court in Swansea.

I love that shades, and a big coat.
Thats what the weather is like in england atm. :)
The hat has some wonderful detail.

Thanks for the pictures, Opal. :flowers: I think she looks lovely in her own way. The coat is very nice, the hats shape does her good, IMO.

Well the Princess Royal isnt quite known for her fashion so its easy to give her a miss. But I like that one, she's dressed very much like her mother actually.

^^ Well some of the other royal ladies don't always have good fashion sense either but they still get posted. ;) :)

True. ;) Actually, Anne has been wearing some nice outfits lately, including this red one.

But I like that one, she's dressed very much like her mother actually.
Including her low-heel black shoes.
I also like this red outfit on Princess Anne.
