Hm, it looks like it might be a cape coat? A shame we don't have a pic of the front of it.

What is Anne wearing?
It looks to me like a coat with a flouncy bottom.
It's funny how she coincidentally coordinates her colors with the serviceman's uniform in the first photo. :D

I think that the Princess is wearing something 'not-to-be-worn-by-a-royal' thing here at the Investiture, but my opinion is that she was beautifully dressed in Canada at a wreath laying ceremony and for the presentation of colours. I was a bit shocked how beautiful she still is (when is dressed in the right way).

I remember when PA turned twenty one British Vogue had a spread on her in various gowns and outfits. We all admired her sense of aesthetic then .From her pantsuits to the tiara she wore She was fashion conscious.Probably to become the Princess Royal and put in that amount of work to attain the status of the the title PA had to become more practical. I still find that she is always appropriately attired without disappointing.

There is little doubt that clothes are not particularly important to Anne, and that is perfectkly fine. She is an incredibly hard working member of the royal family, and her work speaks volumes for her.

Quite right muriel.
It is amusing how Anne's outfit matches that guy's uniform though. Also the pregnant lady in the 3rd pic looks like she's about to pop.

She is fashion disaster! would like my Baka to take her to France and dress her...

I wouldn't call her a disaster. Perhaps not the most elegant. Well... ok sometimes a disaster.
BTW what is a 'Baka'?

This grey skirt suit looks so smart. Anne looks well put together including the black gloves.

Anne's grey outfit is very classy and elegant!

Totally off season, but classic and quite decent. She looks nice for once.

The outfit is elegant but I don't like the neck part. It reminds me of a nun. :ermm:

:previous: Sorry, I forgot to include the date of January 14, 2010 for the grey outfit.

I'm getting the notion that Anne gets cold easily. Her coat is nice but it looks so heavy. She's looks really bundled up (gloves, boots).

I agree the coat looks heavy, but I do like the design of it. Anne looks nice.

The grey outfit is so elegant. Anne looks like a quintessential English Lady. :flowers:

I noticed the shoulder and sleeves on this grey coat seem similar to the brown coat that was posted previously. Perhaps she likes this look or it's the same designer?

I like the grey coat and her hat adds whimsy to the outfit.
The other coat is nice too but rather plain.

Her red coat is lovely, but I don't like the green hat.
