I generally like most of Mary's choices. My faves are the black empire waist w the ruffles and the white gown she wore to Victoria's pre-wedding celebration.

I love the black & white...you have to be certain of your figure to wear wide horizontal stripes.

I love the bright pink with the black sash, and the muted one-shouldered pink as well.

2010 in evening gowns for CP Letizia (missing my fave for the year...the black cocktail dress when she wore the gorgeous ponytail)

Missing my favorite for the year. The blue & white Maxima wore for Queen Margrethe's birthday celebration. The dress combined
with sapphire jewels were perfectly Maxima...dramatic, fun and stylish.

i'm definitely for the red one at the top and the pink one at the bottom. They are extraordinary!:ohmy:

They all are superb but a black evening dress on Mary always inspires me most! I'll never forget the one in pair with the nacklace and ponytail ! Right after I put the creamy strapless creation from Victoria's wedding. :)

I love all of them with the except of the dark blue one. As to the red gowns, they look on Letizia best IMO.:)

She looks fantabulous in red but the one with the long-sleeved jacket ages her to about 60.

Very nice outfits. I don't recognise the first and the last one gown. Someone remeber in which occasion Maxima wore those dresses? I would like to see those gowns in a better view.

I don't like very much the pink dress with the black belt but the rest of the gowns are really nice.

I like the most bright pink and softer one (from Victoria's wedding).
 
The most I like light pink gown (pre-wedding). I think that this year MM wore the best gowns among the other CPss.
 
:previous: The first was worn to Prince Philippe's 50th birthday - all I recall seeing were screencaps of a video, no good pictures since it was a private event.

The last was worn to one of the parties for Victoria's wedding (the private party, not the concert/dinner). It was a repeated dress: as worn previously.
 
Red is definitely her color, but my favorite is blue one from wedding in Greece.

My favorites are floral Valentino (pre-wedding) and gown form Vic's wedding (maybe too tight but I like the color, pattern and how it goes with diamond jewelery).

Impressive collection, I like almost all, especially 3,6,12,17,

I like all, except the second one (this pattern). The gown from pre-wedding concert is the best dress of 2010 in my opinion.

My favourite has to be the blue dress worn at the Swedish wedding.

She hasn't worn many, and I don't like any of them.

I like the Nobel one, and the pre wedding concert the best. Number 4 is also very pretty- she my fav CP for sure :)

I like number 7 best- the one shouldered light purple- not sure what event she wore it for though

There wasnt much opportunity for gala wear last year. By the way, the blue dress was last worn in 2009 and doesnt even belong into this gallery.

Apart from the first two outfits from January 2010 (annual events) and the repeated red gala dress in Peru (official visit) all events were private: the swedish and the greek wedding. The swedish wedding was Letizias only tiara event in 2010, there wasnt a single State Visit to Spain, very unusual.

I think Victoria has now the best taste in eveningwear. Some years ago I didn't like her dresses that much, they were too casual oder boring but now she has developped her style :flowers:
My favourite (and I'm probably not alone) is the dress she wore to the concert the day before the wedding. I've never seen a dress that looks better than this.
 
I'm not quite sure about her choices sometimes. There are dresses that are really beautiful but then she is wearing something that looks very unflattering on her.
I'm sure she'll wear better dresses in 2011.

I won't say anything new by stating Mary looks great and royal in her choices of the evening dresses. Colours, shapes - all flatters her a lot.

It would be easier to pick which one isn't my favorite, and that would be the orange dress worn last January. Beautiful dress, cut and fit, but the color wasn't the best choice IMHO, especially with the ruby tiara. Mary looks divine in the other dresses shown!
 
I don't like the two dresses she wore to Victoria's wedding :ermm: I can't even explain why...
The other dresses are beautiful and I think she has a great taste in general.

It's too bad we've seen her in so few dresses this year. I only hope in 2011 there will be more opportunities. So far I can say I only liked half of the dresses she wore.

And the first one is great, too. I don't always like her style in general so I was surprised seeing her in such a good choice of gala dresses ;)

Apart from the orange dress (sorry but I always have to think of garbage collectors who - in Germany - wear exactly the same colour. there even is a popular song about only garbage collectors wearing orange :p) with the shiny wrap I hated the brown pantsuit, very unflattering.
