Princess Letizia's new haircut - do you like it?
As discussing the new hair cut does not really suit today's occasion I thought it's better to have a new thread. Maybe the moderators can move it into the fashion thread if applicable.
I have to admit that I find the new cut a bit boring, neither short nor long and - forgive me I am not a hairdresser - it looks a bit plain and IMO a layered cut would have looked much nicer. But I do like her highlights and I hope she continues to have different hairstyles with this new cut as I think she has the perfect hair to work with.

I absolutely love it! Her hair is darker too, no? ...which makes it look healthy and well taken care of. It's sophisticated and (thank goodness) not a cut that you could lable as a copy of Mary's cut. Letizia got her own style. Her new cut reminds me of her journalist days. Independent, yet female and the cut looks definitely suitable for a crown princess of the 21st century.

photos in the current events section of this forum. it doesn't strike me as that different, trimmed a little and straighter but not glaringly different. imo she'd be pretty even if she was bald .

As a hair stylist, I dont think she was going for anything different. It just looks as if she shaped up her old hair style. Not a trim, not a major style difference.
she added a little fringe and some layers to the side and shortened the bottom some, but it's still the same style. Nothing major. Color looks the same also.
In any case, she needed a good shaping up. I'm glad to see that she has done it. But no matter what this woman does, she always looks good.

Whatever she did, it really suits her. I always thought she was pretty, but there is a difference in her appearance in these photos. I think it's a mix of her complexion, hairstyle and little bit more weight on her. She looks really beautiful!

I love the hairstyle. I frames her face more and brings out here beautiful features. It gives her a very classic look.

Doesn't she have something similar before she became a princess?

Ive always wondered why hasnt Letizia ever worn a headpiece or hat?

Spanish ladies hardly ever wore hats specially in home.

she just wore the traditional spanish mantilla (just as the one she wore when she met the pope) as a headpiece, but as of today, she never wore a hat or headpiece. we may have to wait until she attends some activity abroad.

Her hair looks a little bit shoter but otherwise the style is the same. She was comfortable with her looks and style before she became a princess and she probably will not change her hairdo or her outfits drastically.

I'm not really sure she has had this haircut before she was a princess this style looks much more blunt with no layers, very little variation of length throughout. I don't think I've seen pics of her with this exact haircut before now. But I could be wrong! However, she seems to be the type that just does little variations to her hair nothing drastic. So maybe in the past she has had similar hairstyle(with face framing layers) but not quite exactly like this. I think the haircut looks great on her(I love the side wept bangs, it hellps her face to not appear as long) and it is a smart length for a princess. It's not too long that it will look untidy but yet its long enough to put up nicely.
