Some article was reporting her dress/coat as being by Jigsaw. She must really like them, I've never heard of them!

Actually I think that is the best she's looked till now. Remember the outfit from the previous wedding ? Imo, this outfit is a lot more elegant. The color suits her well and the shoes are nice. I also like what she wears underneath the coat. You can see it here. But I agree on the headpiece, I wouldn't wear that myself. :)

Jigsaw is a really nice UK clothes store, they do very pretty and feminine pieces.

I generally agree except for the hat situation. First we had the huge fur/not fur semi-disaster and now at Laura Parker Bowles wedding there is the bird that died on the side of her head...but generally I think she wears classy, well fit pieces of clothing, she just has headwear difficulties

I think overall she has a very good sense of fashion and dress very well. Should she marry William, the British royal family will gain a new asset and she'll set the pace in fashion.
Although i hope the recurrance of what happen to Diana won't repeat itself with Kate!
Recently i came across a magazine article in one of those gossip magazine and it mentioned comparing Kate and Chelsea as the new Diana and Fergie! How sick is that!!!

I think the coat is Burberry. http://www.burberry.com/HomeUK.aspx You can see the resemblence. Also it's very similar to the coats in their stores. The shoes look like they are from there too.:)

In hommage to Diana it would be nice for Kate to wear a few designs from Catherine Walker.

I've seen lookalike Lola Rose necklaces everywhere, you can get them in Accessorise, Topshop, Next etc. and they're usually a fraction of the price.

Isn't pashmina just a specific type of cashmere? Pashmina is a material specifically from India I think, which is cashmere but a very specific type. Is that right?

As far as I can remember I've seen two pics of her in pashminas, one jade and one soft pink (there are pictures at www.wireimage.com you just have to put Kate Middleton in search and they are on the 1st page towards the bottom). The jade one could be lambs wool, and the soft pink one could either be silk or cotton, at least that's how they look to me.
Hope that helps!:)

Pashmina is different to cashmere, it's better quality wool and is found in plenty of places besides India, Pakistan being one example. The wool comes from a goat found in the Himalayas. It's incredibly rare and quite expensive but absolutely beautiful to touch and much softer than cashmere.

Cashmere wool comes specifically from the Kashmir goat, hence the name.

New pic of Kate, I don't really care for this green top with the skirt. I think the outfit would look better with a white top under the black cardigan or a black top under the cardigan.
