I don't know how I missed this from last week. Katie Nicholl actually put out a piece that's nice about Kate, well sort of. Must be tough on her as it's so much shorter than her normal pieces on Kate.

If the hat is the one she wear two years ago, then the fur is real. Her mother recently wore a fur hat like Kate's .

Carole Middleton has worn Kate's fur hat at leats twice - once to William's graduation from Sandhurst and recently at a horse racing event
