Here are 3 dresses from the Fall 2005 Carolina Herrera Runway:

1. This dress I think is quite simple but very pretty and would go well on Princess Mary

2. This dress has a nice color and lovely material...I'm not sure who I'd like to see it on...Rania? Mathilde? Letizia?
http://www.style.com/slideshows/fash...WAY/00420m.jpg

3. I'd like to see this on Mette Marit or Mathilde

This Roberto Cavalli Fall 2005 dress would look nice on either Mary or Maxima:

This dress might be a little too revealing for royals to wear but I just think it would be stunning on Madeleine; the color is perfect! It's from the Versace Fall 2005 collection:

This Zac Posen Fall 2005 dress is without a doubt something Maxima would go for- Greek goddess look, light material, bright color... I'd like to see Mette Marit in this color...

Great photos princessvalondra. Thanks for the links. I absolutely love Monique Lhuillier's designs, so I'm glad you posted them. The green dress (the first one) is stunning. Actually, all the dresses you've posted are. Sigh. If only I had a wallet and a wardrobe big enough.

Glad you liked the pictures, I had fun going through the runway pictures to find them, so many interesting outfits lol ...I wish I could afford a wardrobe like that too ... I do love Monique Lhuillier's work...The first dress of hers I remember being caught by was worn by Jamie Lynn DiScala...Sorry this image is so small, up close the design around the neck is beautiful…I never really knew though what it is made of, does anyone know if it is made of crystals or possibly gems? :)

ps- I think this dress would go well on Maxima or Mary lol

This has become a very interesting and fun thread!

Thanks to everyone who contributed such great gowns! :) Keep it up! Lots of great suggestions. There should be a special prize if one of the princesses ends up wearing one of these suggested gowns!

(And thank you to everyone for complying with the attachment rule, too! )

I personally would love to see some of carolina hererra on some of the princesses. I think her style of gowns are especially flattering on anybody. Also, Valentino make great gowns as was seen on the previous posts. Just a couple months ago, Oprah had a Valentino special on her show and it truely collected the best of all his collections and put it into the show. Dresses from his couture line 30 years ago would still be considered high fashion today. This thread is very entertaining! Let's hope to keep it up!

I could see Crown Princess Mary in this one as well
Creamy golden gown

This one would look amazing on Letizia
A demure Valentino gown

MAXIMA MAXIMA MAXIMA...I could definitely see Crown Princess Maxima in this gown...Mette-Marit might look nice in it as well
Chic Valentino gown

I could see this one for Crown Princess Mary or Princess Caroline

Some ballgowns from Oscar de la Renta ready to wear fall 2005

These two gowns will have to be worn by people who know how to wear clothes so that they are wearing the gown and the gown isn't wearing them.

Mathilde would look great in this masterpiece
Strapless satin ballgown

When I saw this gown, I thought it would be perfect for Princess Michael of Kent, and she has the stamina to pull it off.

Yes, Mette-Marit but I think also that Mathilde could easily pull this one off.
Also I would say Victoria too but for me any dress that shows off her magnificent shoulders is good.

I think this would be good on Mary too. She does look stunning in dark blues, dark greens and in a dark purple.

This gown would be good. Maybe Madeleine or Letizia. A nice wrap around the shoulders too.

And another one for Madeleine or maybe Mary:
