Yes, Harry's less formal clothing definitely needs a makeover. He made a start a little while ago by buying a smart new suit, but he certainly needs new casual shoes, pants, jumpers and jackets. I hope to see improvements in the next few months.

Oh no, the Guardian style makeover is atrocious!
The colours are creepy for a red head - not handsome at all.

Prince Harry needs a serious work shop with his father who always dresses well.
Think sharp woollen suits, crisp shits, flowers for the buttonhole, polished shoes, highland tweeds..
That said, Harry's default style could be country sports clothes; he looks smart and well suited to the muted colours and natural fibres, leather and varied textures.

I'm with King of the Jungle on the Harry makeover. I didn't like any of the outfits that they put him in at all.

Maybe if he was going to a costume party as Prince Henrik of Denmark it would pass as Henrik is known for being flamboyant in his attire but those clothes are definitely *not* Harry. :D

:previous: Were them shoes a present from Haakon?

:previous: He has worn them before. Brown shoes are such a hipster thing here in the Central US right now, that I actually look twice when I see a guy wearing black shoes.

:previous: Were them shoes a present from Haakon?
Probably! I can only imagine his ancient but well cared for black brogues met with an unfortunate accident and they were the only other shoes he had with him.

:previous: The suit looks way too big on him.

Joachim today with a nice tie and handkerchief combo but the pants are a miss

That's a nice sweater Frederik is wearing. Nice color. Use it often myself. and for that he gets an extra  ;)

Then let's marvel at Joachim, who has gone into spring-mode.
Nice warm-weather pants.
Nice suit.
Handkerchief.
A white shirt and a pale tie, even with dots, is a fail. they wash each other out.
No lapel thingy.
What about his shoes? No brown shoes for Joachim I hope?

Gotta say I also love that sweater of Frederik's, really sharp on him. Quite the handsome man for sure......?

Well, at least Haakon isn't wearing a turtleneck. :ermm:

Is his shirt appealing to women in any way? I ask because I genuinely wonder whether it is.
As for the rest of Haakon's ensemble.:doh:

:previous: That's an explanation I'll readily buy!

I don't think they look unkempt.(..) With the exception of Harry's shoes, he looks quite dapper IMO. And I like the fact that his jacket isn't blue. I've been wanting to see some other shades, grey, stone, and this at least marks a change.

Last week, Frederik proved that wearing a turtleneck can be cool and sexy

But not paired with this coat or pants Daniel:sad:

this is how you wear a turtleneck wrong, with that ugly old double-breasted coat and suit pants that dont go well with the top part of the outfit. He looks like a college professor trying too hard to be hip. Or one that wants to talk about "art" all day :D

Haakon is currently on a official visit to Estonia and Lithuania and so far has kept his ugly old brown shoes at home. Im shocked! ;)

He started with nice suits but then went with an ugly and too tight double breasted tuxedo

Im thinking Joachim might have picked up those ugly brown shoes from Haakon :whistling:

no tie and an ugly color coat

speaking of no ties, Daniel is in Finland without a tie, but I fear he has gone on to the deep end with his turtleneck shirt wearing :D

:previous: I'm breaking an oath of silence by telling you this, but in the public interest I think I must. :ermm:

You see all royal men are involved in a game called "sting". At any given point one royal man will wear the most ugly brown shoes imaginable and keep wearing them until he "stings" another royal man.

Right now Joachim has got "the Sting", so he is wearing the most ugly brown shoes he can. That was because Haakon last week asked him the following question: How many legs does a cow has?
Joachim, being a logical man replied: Four. But the right answer, according to Haakon, is: Eight. - Two front legs, two hind legs, two on the right side and two on the left side.
After three hours of discussion Joachim, who was on the verge of breaking down in tears, shouted: Oh, give me the blasted shoes then!
So he's got them now. :D

Haakon has, as you know, been "stinged" for a long time now!
It was actually a little unfair to be honest. A few years back Frederik asked him the following question: Coventry City won the English Football Cup in what year?
Haakon, being Norwegian, has no clue about soccer and as such couldn't answer the (BTW trick) question. And being Norwegian he is generally walking around in a perpetual state of bliss and didn't even notice the shoes and as such for a very long time forgot to try and "sting" other royals.
In fact at some point Harry and William began to play their own version of "sting" and took turn in wearing the ugliest brown shoes imaginable, when one of the couldn't answer a question. Like: How many buckets of water passed the Thames estuary between 13.00-14.00 on the 6th May 2017?

It's true. ?
