a very mismatched Daniel at Victoria's birthday today

way too formal on the top half. A double breasted coast, fully buttoned and a tie (i dont think a tie was needed, the king didnt have one)
and then very casual pants

Oooh, yes that's rather an awkward look - all the colours are fine, but that double-breasted jacket doesn't work because a blue linen jacket would have been much better.

Carl-Philip's outfit again needed one change - a white shirt instead of blue!

agree! a white shirt would have worked better with the light color pants for CP. Daniel needed to lose the tie

Looks like Chris is also wearing it, but his pants are a bit more grey.

Do you think they all coordinated beforehand? :)

Im sure all three had a group chat talking about their outfits ;)
CP and Daniel are still trying to convince Chris to use some hair gel ;)

 I think that's a bit mean. I like his yellow pants. He's slim enough to get away with wearing "different" colours that are eye-catching and I think he deserves bonus points for wearing yellow.

Yes, I think it's great when people step out of their comfort zone and try something new. Anything besides the same old, same old suits, ties. Violet shirts, yellow pants, red pants, multi-coloured scarves, everything is interesting. That's why I like Henrik so much, I suppose! :)

LOL

polesco, Locally some guys have mentioned that a guy should never wear a pink shirt.
These gents should see King Philippe. He and a pink shirt go well together.

I don't think white tux is flattering, especially on men with some kilos on... Albert looks like a ice-cream seller most of the time :D

These shoes are Norwegian.
No doubt. There is no market for such footwear outside Norway and college professors.

Conclusion: They are a present, that a beaming Haakon presented Joachim with, to wear for the Olympics.

All men should wear red shoes! :D

A few years ago an engineer friend was staying with us and needed to borrow a jacket. I offered him a red mens' fleece jacket of mine and he was horrified and refused. You'd think I'd offered him fluorescent pink lurex.

Here we have Joachim rethinking the use of this bright red present, more so after noticing the handsome gentleman to his left ;) (nice fitted suit, with the green IOC tie, and smooth black shoes, oh plus a sexy smile:cool:)

Of course Joachim is looking uncomfortable.

Being honor-bound to wear red shoes.
And on top of not being offered a tie, like Frederik's.

For a perfectly attired gentleman, that's the equivalent to of appearing at a reception only wearing speedos.

Hahahahahaha ?

I think he looks uncomfortable because he isn't wearing socks, so he is realizing the red leather from his slippers is going to stain his feet!

I've heard of blackfoot, but redfoot?!? :ermm::p

I think maybe Haakon is colour-blind, especially with regard to his footwear.
