The banded style pops up frequently at the moment in many designer's collections - but I'd say that Dior's current line is more flowing and loose, and with wider skirts - a different feeling than CP Victoria's dress has.
Of course she could afford Dior, but then it would be her first real haute couture dress, and her first by any French designer... who knows, but somehow I really don't think so.

While CP Victoria wore a nicely made but a bit dowdy combination of black & white lace jacket (first worn about a year ago) with black skirt for the prize ceremony in Messina yesterday –

- she changed for the dinner following the actual ceremony into a classy ‘little black dress’. It shows off her great figure, but really would have needed some lively accessories to add more of a sparkle to the all black, minimalistic look:

The cocktail dress is at least three years old but IMO better than the frilly cocktail dresses in washed-out pastels she appeared in throughout the last year.

I like this little black dress. It looks very elegant on Victoria. I still don't care for her hair, though.

I have always liked the black and white lace jacket and skirt. It's very lady-like.

I too like the femininity of the former outfit. Of the latter: Yes, it is nice, but I also think that the hairstyle was too severe or harsh for my taste.

Well, I tried to make this kind of "all Tiara looks " for Vikkan, too... but it's nearly impossible... there are way too many .

So here are (at least) a lot of them....

Many (definitely not all ) Victoria Gala/Tiara Looks

Great collage,HM!!I really like the tiara and the red dress with the pink details(the 1st one in the second row). And it's so nice that she wears them together. She looks gorgeous! On the other hand, the worst tiara is the "Minnie Mouse" one.How can she wear that "thing" on her head?lol

Oh HM, thanks a lot for this and other tiara looks

No matter of that not all, but you've done great job.

She is the only CPss (of course no matter of fact that she's the future Qregnant) who have so big tiaras collection. Here we have 5.

Don't forget Máxima. She was worn more tiaras. Both can profit from the fact that the tiaras are in a foundation and not private owned like in Norway, Spain. Belgium and Denmark.

Well, not exactly like this...I mean, that hair makes her look at least 10 years older. But I'm sure there are many modern-but still feminine-hairdos.
