She looks really good with hair down and layers. Just softens the angles of her face. But she often looks really good with hair up, too.

My preference, though, is hair down.

Oh what a vision! Hair down, finally! Her face looks much more soft and she is really naturally beautiful! Pity for the flash of the bra!

I'm happy to see Princess Victoria with her hair down, I think she looks really lovely. She should use this kind of look more often.

At the christening of Désirée Magnuson. One of her wonderful coats, I have always loved the color of this coat. Recycling the Cos dress she wore in Germany in January 2014.

Victoria arrived to Seoul with Daniel, with her hair down. She looks older with her hair down. And boring. And her chin doesn't look smaller like this. Please, keep your hair up! Now she looks just like some "common" woman, not regal at all.

Love, love, love her hair down!!! Wow! She's gorgeous in these pics! More of this, Victoria...please?!?!?

Too bad about the bra see through. Don't like the fit of the pants.
Tiaras and shorter hair can work, see Princess Diana

Her hair looks wonderful down!! It really softens her features and makes her look younger.

Much softer and more youthful look with the hair loose - no telling what her rank or position was from the outfit, though, unfortunately.

I'm not a fan of the outfit Victoria wore to the christening. The coat is nice but I find the colour rather dull and I don't like her dress or shoes.

I also think I prefer Victoria with her hair up, but I don't think it makes her look like an ordinary woman since a lot of other royal have their hair down most of the time in "normal" styles (think the Duchess of Cambridge, Queen Letizia or Queen Maxima). I can imagine that this will be one of those things that I'll get used to after some time, though. Because Victoria has had her hair up for so long it seems a bit unusual to see her hair down. In regards to her outfit, I think it's a bit of a mess. The shoes look awkward with the trousers and top, and how her bra is showing seems a bit unprofessional.

She looks just fabulous with her hair down - I am floored!

. . . . . At S.Korea she looked messy, too much black and the pants are not flattering. I loved her hair open, it's such a relief from the boring pull back bun she goes for.
And here we have two totally opposite opinions of Victoria's hair. They both have merit and to a degree, they are both correct. That's what makes this discussion so great.

You are right, not only has Victoria had her hair layered, it looks like she has shortened it considerably giving her a softer look around the face. Bit while I like it, I am not quite sure that this was the place to go casual (for her).

Oh what a vision! Hair down, finally! Her face looks much more soft and she is really naturally beautiful! Pity for the flash of the bra!
Oh yes indeed, yet another victim of the dreaded new photo flash that seems worse the darker the material. Letizia got caught out in exactly the same way quite recently.

March 24, 2015 - Princess Victoria in a lovely outfit today. This coat looks so much nicer than the first time worn.

Full view ** Close up

She looks very lovely and elegant. The blouse and skirt is so beautiful.

Victoria should wear her down more often - she looks much younger when worn this way. And it is a very welcome change from her boring slicked back suns on daytime engagements

Look at this picture of Victoria's outfit yesterday, at first I did like it but this picture of the outfit just looks mismatched. The coat is nice and so is the skirt but together it just doesn't work well.

You are right, dazzling.... At first the outfit seems to work because of the similar shades of color, but at a deeper focus you can hightlight the mistmatch and differences! I don't like it!

I blame the blouse with the froufrou, floppy, skinny bow. It just ruined the style of both the skirt and coat. Worse, it doesn't really seem like something Victoria would usually wear so I'm not sure what is going on here.
Victoria's blue outfit:

I love this look! The print of the jacket and the dress are very beautiful. Exquisite color and style. She looks wonderful.
I call this her "Surprise Ensemble".

First she alights from the car and her dress and shoes are immediately there right in front of you and you find yourself thinking, wow, a new dress in a gorgeous deep blue with a beautiful chiffon skirt. Her matching Yves Saint Laurent shoes are to die for! Then we get a close up of the top of the dress and OMG, it's got "little girl" puffed sleeves and yet another froufrou, floppy, skinny bow, and strangely, she's toting her very serious Ralph Lauren bag when one would have expected a clutch.

But all is not lost, because when she comes out she dons a coat, and not just any coat, but her blue striped Gant coat and suddenly her bag makes sense, as does her choice of Ebba Brahe earrings. This is the Victoria we all know and love . . . elegant, chic even, but not fussy. And there has been altogether too much "froufrou" this tour and to be honest, it just isn't something you would expect to see in Victoria's wardrobe.

Now that's the Victoria we know and love, she looks ready for anything. She could even add a hat and gloves and she'd look like a Queen.

I love this ensemble. :flowers: Very sleek fitting with interesting quality materials. Love the lace and patterns. I love the way the clothes fall on her form. Very nice. Looks scrumptious to wear. Great shoes, too.
