I completely agree with LadyFinn re Victoria's outfit at the opening of Parliament. This was perfection down to the last degree! She looked just wonderful.

As to the concert outfit, she loses me on that one. A bit too dramatic for my taste.

Victoria looks wonderfully elegant and I particulary liked . . . no that's too wishy washy! I am bowled over by her wonderfull updo. We've all been lamenting that her hair was a little too severe in her usual tightly pulled back updo and lo and behold, Wow, just WOW.

Her hair is so much more elegant and softer all round. I had to look twice to make sure it was Victoria in that shot because for the first time I could really see how much she and Madeleine resemble each other.

I love her ensemble, right down to, or up to, her matching hair bow and I marvel how she, Sofia and Silvia manage to walk on those cobblestones without breaking their ankles or, at the very least, their heels.

I agree, Muriel, but from that photo it looked like she was giving Daniel a flea in his ear. It seems he missed the "black suit" memo. :D

She looked great at the Parliament but I'm not so sure I like her outfit at the concert. That top....
 
Loved both black and white outfits. Esp loved the hairdo at parliament. Wish I had the sparkly top!
 
Back to her slicked-back hair ala Prince Daniel. :( The only thing I like about this outfit is her shoes... lovely and feminine.
 
It was a fantastic outfit today. This dress is amazing (...)

Thanks for the photos LadyFinn, I think Victoria looks wonderful. Even though my personal preference would be for her updo to be a little bit softer around the face, you just can't go past the fact that she is perfectly dressed for the occassion.

I love the cut an colour of her dress and the necklace is perfectly framed by the dress. But the shoes . . .they are wonderful and, somewhat surprisingly, a little bit "girly".

From the top of her hair to the tip of her toes, she looks amazing . . . (and we won't continue to wonder who mangled Daniel's tie).
 
I so wish Victoria would ease up on the severe/plastered to the head hair. She could look so much more youthful.
 
Lovely flattering dress. The stiffness of the dress worked lovely. I am not fond of this hair style, it's harsh around her face. I think she needs a totally new hair look, it's been like this for ever and this seems the style she always goes for.
 
:previous: I think she keeps this hairstyle because it's an easy one for her to do herself. Ach, it seems like only yesterday we were all complained about the ubiquitous ponytail.

So, I am wondering if she been wearing that bun long enough for us to moan about it and, reminding ourselves to be careful what we wish for. :lol:
 
The only difference in a bun and a ponytail is a bun is usually round and stays in place, whereas the ponytail swishes around! She really needs to change her style to soften it up!! She is starting to look like a school marm... :)
 
This grey dress is just awful (..) And the booties are horrible with the outfit.

I like the sparkly grey suit with the boxy jacket. I even like the grey shooties, she can pull them off.
 
The grey outfit may not be her best choices, but she looks good in grey. And those shooties are just gorgeous. I wish I had them. I always wait for the time when it comes so cold that one can wear shooties, I wore them at the first time yesterday.

The sparkly outfit is just a horror ... and the bootie things one of my pet hates .. just make matters worse IMO

I always think "elf costume" when I see suede shooties. ;)
I think the ankle is a lovely asset and that we should share them when possible and fitting.
 
That grey sparkly outfit inclusive shoes is so ugly and unflattering. Omg.
 
I must be on my own here as I quite like Victoria's latest outfit as I love her dress/top and skirt. The colour suits her and I like the sparkly touch. However, I do think her boots look a little odd with the whole look as to me they look like a case of Victoria absolutely loving them (according to a friend who I showed these photos to, her boots are 'on trend' at the moment), but not knowing what to pair them with, and thinking that the outfit in question is the closest she could go.

I like her in grey, she is one of the few women that can wear it without looking drab.

Now those booties . . . they are gorgeous and I love them and I want them but they would look ridiculous on a woman my age! :sad:

Ah never has the adage "Youth is wasted on the young" been so true.
