Lovely. The skirt is beautiful:flowers:

I love the earrings showing off her bare shoulders. Great look for event.

It's a nice dress, pink looks good on Victoria. The white stripes are a nice addition to the dress, otherwise it could look boring.

And it's queen Silvia's dress from 1984, credit for the great find goes to our member Sarahbellar. :flowers:

Expressen writes about Victoria wearing queen Silvia's dress, which was seen at the family photo in summer 1984.
The director of the press department, Margareta Thorgren said to Expressen:
- The dress is specially made to the queen and has no particular brand. She has certainly loaned it to the Crown Princess in the spring.
It's not the first time Victoria has been seen using her mother's old dresses. According to Thorgren, the Crown Princess has an important thought behind the recycling.
- There is an awareness and a view of sustainability straight through the princess. It can be seen in what events she chooses to participate in, but also when it comes to clothing, and what she signals by re-using the older clothes, says Thorgren.

I love it! So great that Victoria is recycling, she is putting her money where her mouth is. But also so wonderful that her mother saved her clothes and those of her children. The lace dress fits Victoria perfectly, good, color for her

Ahhh, that's why I automatically thought it looked likes an 80s outfit :D

I am very much over lace, but the grey dress looks wonderful on Victoria.

Wow! Her Mom's dress was very well preserved! She looked great!

I had a feeling dress was recycle. Has 80s feeling to it for sure. I still love the print and vivid color though a bit dated.

Swedes definitely take recycling to new level. The queen has a few great pieces she shared with Victoria I love.

The gray dress is lovely on Victoria. I do wish another color, feel younger. But the dress suits her beautifully.

I actually quite like the pink dress from her mother's wardrobe. In fact, I have dreams of seeing her wearing more of her mother's past clothing, specifically her many outrageously gorgeous gala gowns from early Nobels and State Visits.

We have already seen one memorable gala gown recycled as Madeleine wore a white bespoke Nina Ricci gala gown worn by her mother to the Nobels in 2001 to her evening wedding celebration.

I don't know about anyone else but I think it would be a crying shame to leave such a treasure trove stagnant in storage rather than seeing them live and stunning today.

Wow, that shade of pink is amazing on Victoria! I'm not a fan of the white stripes but the pink colour is too beautiful to give the outfit a miss.

I love the dress but I dont like the neck tie, it also looks weird with the large belt.

I don't like print or the belt.

I think this is one of her mother's 80's dresses that doesn't translate. If the sleeves and the hemline were shorter, and the belt was blue and thinner, it might have worked. Pumps are not the best style of shoe for her.

I love that gloriously retro look and have to admit I am really pleased to see the "return" of navy blue. Both the pattern and colour of this dress are really lovely and suits Victoria well, it fits well and makes her legs look gorgeous. The neck tie is really very retro.

I like the color and pattern. I even like the length :flowers:

But the dress over all is too 80s and not in a good way. The arms feel almost like they have shoulder pads, and the tie is bad.

Alone here but I kind of like belt. It gives it a bit of a modern feel. Better if blue.

The dress at the EAT Stockholm Food Forum was just lovely. I like the pattern and the accessories are a great match but Victoria should have had a different belt with the dress.

This color suits her very very much!

I love the print and cut of the first dress, but not the tie or the belt.

The solid pink dress is gorgeous!

Lovely pink dress showing off her fit figure. The shoes don't look right with that dress. The pump style doesn't suit her

The pink dress is amazing in her. The color fantastic. And shows off figure :flowers:

Could be... a blue belt may have helped as well to make it look better
