Crown Princess Mette-Marit's ensemble is lovely. Although I like the whimsical hat with a veil, I am not sure it looks right for a morning engagement. The sleek hairstyle nicely complemented the hat.

I like this look. Imo MM looked really elegant.
The hat is something new for her. I like it.

The navy jacket is lovely. I think she looked great!

Jacket is pretty but the shoes look weird with the colour of her legs. I know that's the colour of hes skin but she should've chosen different colour of the shoes. Those don't look good.

Hm, I think the brown gloves are ok. The colour is similar to the one of the belt and the buttons of the jacket.

Wearing black gloves would probably made her outfit look like she was at a funeral. Besides they match her belt.
I love her hat, btw.

Not sure if the top part matches the bottom part. Somehow the elegant coat doesn't go too well with sport shoes.
