The children look beautiful, especially IA. I love the colour of MM's dress but not the top part, the way it crosses over the chest.

The outfit is nice, however I'm disappointed that she didn't wear the sheer black stockings again. They would've looked so much better.

I agree. This seems to be a very pretty dress, but I'd like to see a full view too. Her girl looks lovely indeed.

MM is very elegant today except I can say she shouldn't have worn the heavy black tights. They look out of place with the coat and especially the floaty white dress or skirt beneath it, otherwise she is chic.

She looks amazing. I think the black tights are fine with her outfit. Again, she looks very chic. Her hat reminds me of Jackie Kennedy's pillbox hat.

I fully agree with you. Crown Princess Mette-Marit effortlessly pulls off pill-box hats. Soft lilac colour complemented her complexion.

I just think this is completely horrible outfit she looks really matronly IMO and the wearing the trademark again I agree lilac looks pretty in her but it is not all about the colour IMO

I tend to agree that the look is horrible - the coat is too wide for her, white dress and black tights is a bad combination.
Although the lilac is a great color for her.

Everything is lovely here I think - apart from the tights - I agree they are too heavy for the lighter springy look.

National costume looks fantastic on her, she has typical Scandinavian pretty type 
Outfit from balcony appearance - very elegant, recycled but still good looking. For me the best so far.

Surprisingly the pill box looks way better on her than the "normal" hat, lucky her.
I like both outfits, at least what I can see of the white one looks good.

I don't understand why they have to wear these costumes. If they have to wear them they could at least fix them up a bit. I love the white hat on her. Lovely.

Everyone in Norway wears the Bunad proudly and I think it's always wonderful to see the Royals wearing the National costumes, too. Personally I love seeing the NRF in Bunads.
In Norway people wear their National costumes for weddings, christenings, the national day and many more events.
