I love the above look on Mathilde! It's so chic, though it looks as if she didn't try at all. I'm not so sure about this necklace though.

It's a nice outfit. The blouse looks lovely. As for the necklace, I don't like it.

Princess Mathilde today at the 'Masters of black in fashion
and costume' exhibition in Antwerpen, Belgium.

** Pic 1 ** Pic 2 **

At first sight maybe a bit too dark for an event in May, but it
was well chosen for the exhibition theme. The jacket has a
nice cut, the skirt is a matter of taste and the earrings are
a good lightener for the whole outfit.

I like the jacket but I would need another photo to have an opinion on the skirt. But I think that the cut of the jacket and skirt don't go well together.

And I agree Iceflower the outfit really matched the exhibition!

This looks much like a Max Mara skirt I've seen recently. The overall look is fantastic IMO. The jacket looks great! Beautiful earrings, hair etc. Thumbs up this time!

I totally agree with you, Melibea, on the outfit; the jacket is great imo. Great choice with the earrings.

I like in particular the collar's cut along with the fabric of Mathilde's jacket, but the slightly uncommon pattern and pleats of her skirt look similarly pretty. I'm glad she didn't choose to wear an outfit which is solely black

I love the black and white outfit, those colours always look good on her. But the other one , doesn't she have the same boots as Maxima? They don't suit the dress at all; and the dress with the jacket doesn't look too good either.

Joining the above opinions, I have to say that Crown Princess Mathilde looked gorgeous in the simple black-and-white ensemble.

Melibea is right. This is just wrong. I have to say I like this envelope-bag though.

I like the top/jacket with the belt a lot. I agree, the overall look is very nice indeed.
