It is hard to see what the black coat looks like behind that humongous bouquet she is holding! :) I don't care for the top of this dress either... not one of her best looks.

I don't think the black dress with the lacy bit at the top suits Mary. I liked her shoes, though.

I don't like the black dress at all, especially the pointed bottom; gives off too much of a Halloween vibe to me. And I'm sorry to say, but with the long unstyled hair, all she needed was a witch's pointed hat to complete the look.

I agree it is too nightgownish but the skirt is better than the one she wore the other year.
Not liking this outfit at all

Maybe Mary is just getting in early for the Halloween festivities?...She does like to add a extra dimension to her clothing choices from time to time...For example: blue at Christian's christening, pink at Isabella's, her in pink and Fred in blue leaving the hospital with the twins...If you read between the lines or overanalyse or clutch at straws You will see what she did there

And now I have the mental image of Maary as Elphaba from 'Wicked'; green face, pointy hat, and all else that goes with it .

Mary looks great in the dress paired with the nude heels.

I quite like the dress this time round and I don't mind the upper part at all. She looks elegant with the coat on!

The dress and shoes I love.
The jacket? Not so much. It looks somewhat ill-fitting.

The dress is stunning, but I really dislike the jacket.

Too much gold for me! The dress is ok but the jacket looks too shiny, hate the ugly bow.
