in middle-europe black is worn too in summer - no problem at all.
I have to admit I am not fond of the sleeves of this dress - otherwise its nice. The dress of Isabella is beautiful - I don´t like to dress kids always in romantic "princess"dresses - this one is great

Black dress for summer is really fashionable!

Any idea who's the designer of this one?

Some of us come from countries where it gets really hot in summer. I don't know how hot it gets in Denmark, but in countries like mine, it is not that is not fashionable to wear black in summer is just not practical you'd roast your self in black clothes in a hot summer day. At least for me... it is odd to see a black dress in a summer day

Now back to Mary, I like how she combined it with the cute flats, but I would have love to see it in a lighter color since she is with the children and in a casual event...

ImageBam - Fast, Free Image Hosting and Photo Sharing in this picture, it might be the lighting but her foundation looks too heavy.

Bella's dress looks better in other pictures unfortunately it is too wrinkled, however I can overlook that because she is such a little girl.

What a cute dress. I've always loved the Chanel flats & they are great with this dress. Mary always looks amazing! I really love her style.

The way the sleeves are it makes the top part of the dress look big.

I like the layers in the top front of it. Not keen on the sleeves. The kids are cute!

The dress is ok, although it would have been better in another colour.

Love this outfit! It's a simple outfit and perfect for a day out with the kids. I esp love the beige and black combination.

Cool

It's a pretty outfit, fashionable, yet fits in for a casual outing. I wear black a lot in summer.

I dont mind the black but the sleeve design is awful. Nice accessories.
I dont get what is wrong with Isabella's dress? Its perfectly fine for a 3 year old girl visiting a circus.

I agree. And she is definitely not the type of girl who should be 'doll'ed up' at all occasions.

It looks like a potato sack and not a dress. That's what's wrong IMHO.
I see children wear much more tasteful clothes - even while visiting a circus or zoo. I said tasteful, not necessarily expensive. These cuties here look like peasants of the 17th century.

I like the dress but it could be another color.

I find Marys dress more potatoesackish than Isabella's. I am just glad it doesnt have the usual drab colour!

^ Me too. Mary's sack is plain ugly. It just doesn't fit her anywhere.
I see what you mean regarding the colour of Isabella's dress. Vibrant colours is what suits little girls.

I liked the dress. Its fashionable and appropriate for her childrens outing. I don't think she looks like a potato sack! I really like how she paired the dress with Chanel flats.

I don't have a problem with the colour but I don't like the overall design of the dress.
I do love the shoes!

Compared with how CP Mary dresses herself usually, her two children - but especially little Isabella - look underdressed most of the time.
I don't want to see them dressed like little dolls, but when you take a look at the latest pictures of the Dutch girls you can see how comfortable and yet pretty little girls can be dressed...

It seems Mum is very busy with her ensembles, dear.
