Some of Marys favourite danish designers has quite good webistes and has ready to wear collections which she wears. The websites are in english so they are easy to navigate.
Malene Birger, especially the Saloon collection is nice IMO

Looking for something else I found this coat that looks alot like the one Mary wore in the summer cruise to Bornholm, but there are no back view of it or belt, so Im not really sure but the collar and cut does look similar though, its from Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga

You're right Larzen. Gwyneth Paltrow has this coat too and she is a big Balenciaga fan. It's good to see Mary trying out some other designers.

I love Mary's white dress. Does anyone know who designed the dress?
I don't like everything Mary wears but, on the whole, she is very beautifully dressed. I can't say I blame her for some of her fashion misses. She needs a ton of clothing and I would gather it's hard to put together the "perfect" outfit every time.

I love the whole look of Mary's white dress, it is perfect with her hair and her pearls and is one of her best if not her best ensemble.

CP Mary has such great style. I admire her for her classic style but also for taking that leap when she wants to jazz things up a bit. She's not afraid to try new things and maybe make a mistake here and there. As for me, she rates up there with Audrey Hepburn and Princess Grace when it comes to style and elegance.

I think so too. The colours somehow don't really match.

CP Mary seems to wear a lot of very similar dresses, like the green one and her engagement dress. They have 3/4 sleeves, a high round neck, are quite close fitting and are made of similar material! They look really nice on her though!

I also think that's not bad,the contrast of colors makes it.
I hope that Mary will tone down her spending on designers' clothes, she was recently called Nordic Imelda Marcos,I know Denmark is a wealthy country, but her civil lists could be used in other way, rather than making her looking just like an other fashion victim and a self image obsessed, the perfect example of an elegant royal without being a fashion visctim is Princess Letizia.

Mary seems to spend a lot on clothes but it's not like other princesses don't. If you look at their recycling threads, they pretty much recycle around the same amount (except for maybe Letizia, not saying it's a bad thing). Mette-Marit prefers her Armani, Maxima likes Valentino, and Mary seems to have a thing for Prada. I don't get why Mary gets criticized so much for her designer clothes.

Mary at the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair. I think Mary's face is glowing and she got some sun during her vacation but the dress is a little busy for my taste. The color is beautiful though!

^Hmmm, another baby on the way? In all honesty though she is wearing far shorter heels than she normally does and a wrap dress like the one she wore when she was pregnant with Christian. In some photos she also looks a little tired. We shall see! (I feel like a tabloid )

Personally, I don't care for big prints. It just "screams" Plus the pale green colour is hard to carry off on most skin tones. She does look pretty with her hair down like that.

I like Mary wearing green. She looks really pretty in that colour!
Well, the cut of the dress isn't the best. The sleeves look a bit strange ... but I like the big prints!

I think Mary probably spends a similar amount of money on clothes as other princesses. It may look like she spends more because she choses pieces that are a little more risky and catch the eye.
Letizia likes to wear more "professional" type of clothing like suit pants and skirts. They tend to always look similar so people may get the impression that she does not have as big a wardrobe as other royals.

I don't think that the other european princesses spend as much as Mary on clothes,it was mentionned that she spent 700K$ only on clothes and accessories last year, reason for why she and Fred asked to increase their civil lists,as they spent more than what was given by the danish governoment.

I don't agree. Besides, who knows exactly what was spent on clothes and accessories for Mary? Ekstra Bladet? Or some similar 'newspaper'.
And if they did spend more than their income it would be their problem I think. They don't get extra public funds if they overspend on personal items as far as I'm aware.

I do not agree, firstly noone knows what they spend on clothes, just because some tabloid wants to put some figures on things does not mean it is true. And Denmark, Sweden and Norway are not rich monarchies, there are limits. And can we imagine Mary and Frederik calling PM Fogh Rasmusen and asking for another million so they can buy more clothes I think not, clearly there are other expenses, they are just in the start of establishing their household as a couple with a child, also I belive Frederik covered the deficit himself, btw Haakon and Mette-Marit also had a deficit on their budget
Secondly the only Crown Princess who wear Italian Couture regulary is Maxima. Mary, Mette-Marit, Mathilde, Victoria and Letizia wears italian/french/german/british ready to wear, or clothes by domestic designers, the prices cannot be compared to couture. Im not saying Maxima wear couture all the time (she does not) and Im not saying it to dish her, but she does it more than any other Crown Princess, but she also part of the richest continental european family.
