Well at least it's not another lace dress.
The dress is nice for someone who like Kelly Osbourne or some young edgy/gothic celebrity who is trying to add some elegance by wearing a dress. Not for mid 30s professional mother of 2.

I don't know, ladies. It seems to me that this time her platforms were much more elegant than her dress. How did she wear a dress with external zippers?Like the teenagers that wear blouses with zippers on the sleeves...Come on,there are million of dresses for Letizia to choose.

yes I agree
I don't find her dress exceptionnal, the details (zips) are cheap looking, i saw Princess Letizia so much more classy than with this teenager dress ....i am so nostalgic about her first look, much more elegant, fancy, discret : fantastic trousers or skirts suits....

Her hair is lovely at the gala dinner
i really like this skirt and beaded top combo on Letizia its very Spanish and great to see her recycling it - 5th time for the skirt (from memory the skirt was first seen during thier trip to the usa in 2004 and has been worn at the 25th wedding anniversary in lux july 2006, dinner during the visit by portugal in spetember 2006 just after the announcement of her pregnancy with sofia and was last seen at a gala dinner in december 2007 worn with the beaded top)
Part of the outfit is spoilt with her awful platform shoes - but i really didnt expect anything less on her feet

I don't know what all the fuss is about in regards to her shoes. Yes, they are a bit platform-y (I know that isn't a word ) but they don't look in no way to be stripper shoes! Has anyone seen a picture of what stripper shoes look like? I think her heels are kinda cute. But I wish she would start wearing her Pedro Garcia's like she used to.
She looks very elegant.

She looks wonderful! Love the outfit, but her hair is what I like the most. It looks just stunning.

I love Letizia's hairdo.
About the dress: I always loved the skirt, but never liked the top.

The skirt is very beautiful. I saw a large close-up picture of it when she wore it for their US trip. The detail on the skirt is magnificent.

instead of wearing it herself letizia keeps repeating her old frocks, this one for the fifth time. the skirt is not bad but the top belongs to the cheap looking varela galawear-line. i am still waiting for the day felipe will provide his wife with a gown that is worthy to the occasion of a state dinner.
the only detail i really like is the hair, one of her best tiara-hairdo's for ages.

Nice and really regale hairdo!
I like the skirt with the train, but I don't like those colours and the pattern, and they don't match the colour of the sash!
Terrible shoes!
I can't see it well, please, could you tell me if the skirt is black and white or blue and white?

This is the first hairdo I've seen on her that I really liked. It compliments her face wonderfully!
