Indeed casual for the ocassion but nice, the purple colour is wonderful and in fashion, I don't like her shoes but they are not high and the day was long for her so the perfect choice. I like the scarf and the colour However I think she failed because it was not the right choice for this ocassion

I guess its one of those days you just dont really matter what people think about what you wear. The outfit without the leather jacket is nice. The leather jacket ruines the look big time. The scarf is too much but adds color big time to the outfit.

ITA. The outfit would have been fine with a different jacket.

too bad because i really like the jacket, it looks classy and with some more elegant accessories, eg a less wild scarf or a brooch, it would certainly be a winner.

Letizia has developed a strange tendency to ruin perfectly nice outfits with shawls... I wouldn't call them scarfs anymore, they're just too oversized, which is part of the problem.
I agree with Duke of Marmelade that it's a particular pity with this outfit, because the jacket looks very classy indeed - at least judging from what I can see of it, which is not a lot, thanks to the mis-matched monster around her neck.

One has to wonder just what is going on in her mind lately. It's as if she's cloning herself with each outfit she wears. And it is not flattering at all. Hopefully she will get over the scarf/shawl and platforms phase sooner rather than later!

I love her jacket and her scarf
And I hate her shoes
I like how looks this outfit with the scarf, without it, it would be very boring, IMO.
