Yes, being thin does make woman [especially] more elegant and photogenic -- which is why all the very high paid models are thin. Nothing worse than thick legs, ankles and waist to ruin the perfect look of a multi thousand dollar outfit.

I think she looks way too casual also. She needs a jacket or cardigan at the very least to make it more of an outfit. This is just a white blouse and a pair of pants....certainly nothing stylish about it.

I admit that I don't like her white blouse and grey trousers combination but if she like it... It's litlle sad for me. Or maybe that's just not the best photo of them...
I can't waite for spring and summer colourful fashion.

There were 6 pages of pictures here, they enjoy working together.
I agree she should wear some bright colors, it seems her daytime outfit are mostly white or grey. Also buy some new clothes (so far no new clothes this year), if nobody buys any clothes in Spain, the Spanish fashion industry would go bankrupt.

So maybe there is a chance to see some recycles of her wonderful and colourful outfits since years (around Leonor's time )...
I don't think that Spanish fashion industry would go bankrupt because she doesn't buy some new clothes. She is not the only one woman in Spain.

Im going to disagree - i think she looks smart and elegant. The trousers are a nice shape and the blouse is smart with the belt adding a touch of modernity

I completely agree with you, PrincessofEurope. I thought that Letizia looked very elegant and polished in this outfit.

I don't know, sgl. I see nothing elegant and polished about a plain white blouse (albeit with a belt) and a pair of grey trousers. Surely a HRH could manage abit more panache and chic...

The outfit is rather casual. I notice that Princess Letizia is a no frills person when it comes to her daytime wear. Very simple outfits, mostly neutral colors and minimal jewelry.

If the word boring means understated, contemporary, classic and minimalist thn maybe you would be right, imo.

The trousers are nicely cut. They are very flattering. The white blouse is very nice, especially with the detailing on the front, and the belt is pretty. I like the buckle on the belt. No, this is not the most exciting outfit; but IMO, it looks really lovely on her.
But that is what is so fun about fashion. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. It is fun to read everyone's opinion. It would be really boring if we all kept replying, "I like this" or "she looks nice".

Not boring for me. Most of her outfits are classic so they can be worn years from now and still look good.

I sooo agree!! The beauty of fashion is not just to dazzle or look trendy but it is in the beautiful lines, the tailoring, the perfect fit.
That IS what makes this board so much fun and interesting...differing opinions!

Indeed a bit casual but again to me her figure says it all, although the clothes are not that "spectacular" she has a great look and a great skin elegant pose!!

Princess Letizia played with the children during her visit to a child centre of 'Aldeas Infantiles SOS Espańa' NGO, in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, outskirts Madrid.

This casual outfit of hers fits very well at today´s event. It´s lovely to see Letizia with the children.
