I see, OK then. Wasn't sure if there wasn't something I missed .

She indeed looks very cute in those sunglasses .

This is my favorite pic(s) by far!!!!!

myroyal's: ALBERT& CHARLENE V

Seriously, she reminds me sooo very much of Diana when she first got engaged and married to Prince Charles (click here:http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...arles19802.jpg).

Ah, how I miss that innocence, shyness, humility, finally captured once again in the aforementioned pics of Charlene. :) Brings back so many good memories of another time, another world, another generation. So many things lost over the decades, it's a joy finally to see something that reminds me of that more innocent time.

Lol, they both look like two innocent young schoolgirls, meeting the press and public for the first time. All so new to them, that's the charm right there. I will cherish these precious moments before it's all washed away forever, sadly... :(

Those are some of my all time favorite photos of Diana...she was so young and gorgeous and adorable.

I think CW does occasionally seem uncertain...but not necessarily shy.

It's much different than Diana's aura.

But both ladies knew/know how to pull themselves together when it counts, there is no doubt about THAT.

In Nadine's Post #44 above, after looking at the fifth photo myroyal's: ALBERT& CHARLENE V I have to say that Charlene hasn't had cosmetic surgery on her face, at least recently as everyone says. She has frown lines and crow's toes and if she'd had surgery within the last 4-5 years, they would not be as pronounced as they appear.

Of course, slip of the tongue is what happens to me at times...
... or the glasses have made too strong an influence on me...

I couldn't agree with you more Nadine. I like her demeanor - she seems like a sweet person.

Do you mean hair extensions? Didn't she have her hair pulled back for the Ireland trip so how can we know for sure?

Charlene Wittstock today, April 23, during a visit to the exotic garden of Monaco.

A nice dress and coat combination. I think it wouldn't have looked that good
without the coat, too many big polka dots for a woman like Charlene, but the
coat works as a good counterbalance.

The tailoring of the coat is quite smart, I do like the polka dots as she has the heigh to pull it off. The coat breaks it down quite a bit. I do like the overall view but not the shoes.

I like this outfit - the coat is a little big in some of the side on shots I have seen in the current events thread but it still looks nice.

The only thing I would have changed is the handbag - nice bag but I did not think it worked too well with this outfit at this event.

I agree with you. It's really a nice coat. Overall a lovely look.

Dazzling hit the nail on the head. The outfit is lovely, but the shoes, for me, just don't go. The same shoes in black (or whatever dark color the dress is) would have been lovely.

I agree with everyone else...if she had worn different shoes it would have been a perfect outfit, very chic.

I have NO idea why she wore those shoes.

For the future, I hope she puts a bit more effort/time into her hair as they look like last minute put up which tend to look untidy. Its been done at the latest event & during the visit to Ireland.

She has rather thin, flyaway hair.

That kind of hair is notoriously difficult to manage.
