Serena's correct title is Viscountess Linley. The name is not a part of the title .. unless she is a widow or divorced. When her husband succeeds as the 2nd Earl of Snowdon, Serena will be styled as Countess of Snowdon. Lady Snowdon on second reference. |

What a lovely couple! And the baby is beautiful--or handsome..... I was beginning to wonder if they wanted children. How long were they married before his birth? How old are they now? I just like them because they are so dignified. No nasty rumors or scandals and Viscount Linley has made his own way in the world with his gorgeous furniture. It's refreshing to see marriages which do work and people who look genuinely happy together!

They married in October 1993, and their son was born in July 1999. Their daughter was born in May 2002. Linley was born in November 1961 and Serena in March 1970.

No. Serena's dress comes from Catherine Walker, while Sarah modelled for another designer.

For those who are interested in knowing what Viscount Linley does, here is the link to the Linley Website. Very classy.
http://www.davidlinley.com/home2.php You will be pleased to note that he is having a sale, with 20-40% off selected items. However, I would strongly suggest a check of the price list before getting any hopes up. If you want quality, you pay for it. Be warned! :) . |

The late Princess Margret had some fabulous pieces of jewelery. Did her son inherit any pieces, specially the paltimore tiara?

Viscountess Linley may occasionally wear a tiara in the future, but how many tiaras, necklaces, brooches, earrings or rings would Lady Sarah require? This is the problem with serious Royal jewels; as they get passed down the generations there is less need and opportunity to wear them and they end up sitting in the bank vault. The jewels are valuable assets, but produce no income; at some point they will be converted to cash. Disappointing for jewellery and tiara-watchers, but inevitable. . |
