Trooping the Colour 2003-2022

Does anyone know why Prince Andrew along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were absent?

Thanks for the photos!
Princess Michael and Countess of Wessex looked elegant. Duke of Edinburgh should be lauded for wearing a bearskin hat, which is not so light.

Mrs. Brown's hat is rather whimsical.:ermm::ermm::ermm:

Thats who i thought it was - thanks for comfirming it
I can now presume the two teenagers are her children Flora and Alexander rather than the Mowatts

Mrs. Brown's hat reminds me of a satellite!

HM looks really beautiful in that vibrant shade of turquoise! I also think that the Duchess of Cornwall looks very nice. Does anyone know why Prince Andrew and his daughters were not present?

I love trooping the colour :) of course the flypast and the balcony view. I missed some persons in picture and no real good shot of Princess Michael... :ermm:

But IMO the the Duchess of Gloucesters outfit was absolutely wonderful! And of course nice to see Lady Louise, such a cute girl!

BTW, anybody seen Prince Michael???

First off gotta say yay! Lady Louise finally made a balcony appearance. Secondly I'm sad Prince Andrew, Bea and Eugenie were absent but overall from the quick look I had through the photos everyone looked great. I'll check out the rest in a bit more detail later on, just wanted to have a quick peek as soon as I woke up.

This user seems to have recorded the full thing and is currently in the process of uploading it.

Great to see Lady Louise! Such a Windsor she is. I wish I could see close ups of the other guest so I could ID them. Supposedly Frederick was there with his fiancee but I didn't see them.

Prince Michael had an engagement in Canada today visiting an aviation museum so Princess Michael went alone.

BTW I am glad she stood where she did because she's one of my favourite Royals so it was good to get a good look at her. I thought her outfit and big hat were lovely.

Shame there's not a clearer one of Princess Alexandra.

I absolutely agree with you, Beatrixfan...

Aw, Rexfeatures as always has a few good ones, but as always too small.

I have seen no sign of Freddie and Sophie Winkleman

I know that Louise was on the balcony before the Queen came on to it but I didn't see her on it at the fly-past and Sophie herself stood at the back during it as well. A bit odd IMO as that's usually the highlight for any young children at TTC.

Is it standard that the Prince of Wales ride in on horseback? Meaning will William one day do the same for this occasion?

Prince William will do it if he is ever made a Colonel of one of the regiments of the Household Division.

For those who saw the full thing on BBC one, did they show the family alot during the Fly Past? Cause when I saw the quick 4 min video on BBC's site it didn't show them much and I'm waiting for the full thing to be put up since I can't watch it on BBC Iplayer. I remember last year they were shown alot

I don't know if the flypast will be on YouTube. It's not a part of the main broadcast on BBC One. It's only shown on the highlights show on BBC Two in the evening.

** Trooping The Colour **

Great to see that many members of the royal family,
the best surprise was Lady Louise, Sophie and Edward
did make a great decision to include and show her now :)

Oh is it, I had no idea. Ugh I hope someone does rip it off BBC Two. I think it was playing right now least that's what it said on the site. One more thing how come William wore a different suit than Harry this year? I think it's the same one he wore when he got his "wings"

Here are some of my fave photos that were taken by the public.
