Makes sense. It’ll be interesting to see how many of Harry’s patronages they’ll jointly support vs. remaining exclusively his. So far it seems they jointly support...

Endeavor Fund
Well Child
Invictus Games

Did I forget any? Sentebale remains a question mark. Meghan has gone to the performances and polo match in support of Sentebale but purportedly hasn’t been to Lesotho. I’m finding that harder to believe as each day passes and we learn of a new locale they’ve visited with no one the wiser.

I certainly hope that we get some photos of the couple at the Endeavour Awards. I'm looking forward to seeing them. I'm sure are both great supporters of each other's charities, but of course that doesn't mean joint patronage.

Agreed. I didn’t mean joint patrons. I meant support more in the way of joint appearances perhaps with speaking roles. So I’ll add the Henry Straubenzee Memorial to my earlier list.

I think that as time passes and the "Fab Four"'s day planner books get filled with the specific engagements they're going to do, we'll see Harry and Meghan at events together but it won't be the norm. Two can cover much more ground and spread their support and interests separately than they can together.

What I find touching and actually a brilliant idea is that so many things that these younger royals take on can and do mesh together and that nearly all of them can benefit from their "Heads Together" mental health campaign. For example, just recently its been suggested that with Harry's Sentebale and Meghan's National Theater patronage, it can be combined for a joint purpose. We may see (and this is just speculation) Kate's involvement in Place2Be (making a lifetime of difference to children in schools) and Meghan's Smart Works (free clothes and job interview training) join together for an event that highlights *both* of the patronages working together. Or, we'll see Meghan and Camilla jointly doing something to benefit animal rescue shelters. You get the idea. ?

Getting people to work together for a purpose is what happens when you umbrella interests and goals together. In a way, I think this way of doing things is pretty much an advancement in how the "Firm" and the royal workers are going to do things in the future. Meghan and her separate and personal interests and patronages is increasing the size of the umbrella.

ETA: The more I think about it, the more I'm coming to realize that as much as we admire Harry and Meghan as a couple and for some, focus on this couple, it would pay us well to remember that these two are basically, in everything they do, a part of a bigger picture where they work with a team whether it be the "Firm" or the Royal Foundation. As the idiom goes, "there are no small parts. Only small actors." Dabbs Greer, a bit actor, once said, "Every character actor, in their own little sphere, is the lead."

The Duchess of Cambridge will attend The Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ conference on Wednesday 13th February.

The conference brings together delegates from health and education to discuss what more can be done to tackle mental health issues in schools in support of both pupils and staff.

Hosted by Kate Silverton the conference will also highlight some of the latest work being done by Heads Together and Her Royal Highness’s project, Mentally Healthy Schools.

BTW, do we know where they are holding the awards this year? The only thing I've seen is that it's in London. It seems odd no one mentions anything more.

There was no Palace announcement or photo-call, but on Wednesday night, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge hosted a very grown-up dinner party at Buckingham Palace.

The guest list comprised a number of experts who have been working with her on her latest campaign focused on the well-being and mental health of schoolchildren in Great Britain. Kate personally secured permission from the Queen to use the monarch’s London residence.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, this evening attended the Endeavour Fund Awards at Drapers' Hall, Throgmorton Avenue, London EC2.

Here’s the details of Wednesday conference.

The Duchess of Cambridge will attend The Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ conference on Wednesday 13th February.

The conference will bring together delegates from across the mental health and education sectors to explore and discuss the benefits of collaborative working and what more can be done to tackle mental health issues in schools.

The event, hosted by broadcaster and presenter Kate Silverton, will see a full day of speakers, panel discussions and breakout sessions. Her Royal Highness will listen to a number of sessions, including one on the benefits of integrating mental health modules into teacher training courses, and another on the role of school leaders in creating a culture of wellbeing in schools.

During her visit, The Duchess of Cambridge will meet Head Teachers from a number of schools that are currently piloting The Royal Foundation’s ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’ programme. Launched by The Duchess of Cambridge in 2018, ‘Mentally Healthy Schools’ is a website giving primary schools free access to hundreds of the highest quality mental health resources, helping teachers better support their pupils’ mental health. It is one of the legacy programmes from the Heads Together campaign and is being delivered in partnership with The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, Place2Be and Young Minds.

Her Royal Highness will then join a meeting with teachers and specialists from the sector to further discuss the potential impact of consistent mental health teacher training, as well as the challenges facing its implementation.

This event forms part of The Duchess’ continuing work at The Royal Foundation, where much of Her Royal Highness’s focus is on supporting and promoting the mental health of children and young people.

I’m wondering when the ‘Royal Fab Four’ will carry out an engagement together on behalf of their foundation? They’ve been very impressively busy in the new year, but haven’t done anything together yet.

Why do they need to? They work together at the Foundation, but don't have to make a public show of it.

:previous: I agree. They can get far more done working independently for the Foundation than they can working together. As the years pass, the Foundation's umbrella will get bigger and bigger and cover more and more causes and all of them seem to fall into specific categories for specific royals.

The mental health angle fits nicely into just about any of the causes. I've even noticed lately that there is beginning to be more emphasis on emotional and mental health in medical health insurance plans here (as seen on TV).

I suspect we might see a second Forum for the Royal Foundation, at the end of this month sometime, and if we do, then we'll see them there. But the Foundation is really just an umbrella opportunity for all of them, since many of their interests seem to be similar.

As the years go on, we'll see the umbrella and interests grow and change, and perhaps the Foundation's purpose change. But I think it was started was to be able to give the younger generation a chance to do work with some structure.

Just saying...wondering when they’ll do something together for the foundation or any other engagement together. Who don’t want to see the ‘Royal Fab Four’ doing any official engagement together?

Of course we would all like to do a joint engagement, but apart from our curiosity and entertainment, what purpose will it achieve? The said event will get the spotlight with any one or two of them attending.

I’m just talking about them doing on official engagement together for the foundation or something else. Not trying to put anything behind it other than them out together for some official reason. It’s been a while since just the four of them done anything together.
