Either way its a shame. As I said, they were one of my favorite couples and it appears that at one time they were in love. For whatever reason, they either out grew it, had a different concept of love or could not overcome a bump in the road.

While Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla attended a ceremony at the
British Australian cemetery of Fromelles, northern France on the 94th
anniversary of the World War I battle of Fromelles, the Duke of Kent
named a Eurostar train 'Remembering Fromelles', at St Pancras station
in central London, July 19, 2010.

A little addition: In the meantime I've found out that the Duke did
not only attend the naming ceremony in London, he also travelled
to France after that and attended the ceremony in his role as
president of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The only
thing I am wondering about is if he used that same train, that would
of course be kind of logical, on the other hand I wonder if there was
enough time for a journey by train..

I suspect it was the same train.

Would you know how Charles & Camilla mayhave travelled to France?

I would expect Andrtew to visit Farnborough, given his Trade Ambassadaor role and his well known interest in aviation.

A bit late but I guess by plane, muriel. At least they've arrived earlier than
the Duke of Kent.

The Duke of Kent, in his role as Honorary Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Air
Force, has attended a ceremony in the City of London to mark the 70th
anniversary of the Blitz, 7 September 2010.
