The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Japan Society, this afternoon planted a a commemorative Cherry Tree as part of a Tree Tree Planting Ceremony in Regent's Park, London NW1, and was received by Mr. Rupert Goodman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Masons, this evening presented The Duke of Gloucester Award for Excellence in Stonemasonry at the Mercers' Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London EC2.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal President, the Children's Society, today received Mr. Mark Russell upon assuming his appointment as Chief Executive.
Ms. Janet Legrand (Chairman of the Board of Trustees) was present.

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning opened Riverwalk School, Mayfield Road, Bury St Edmunds, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk (Claire, Countess of Euston).

The Queen gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening for North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Leaders to mark Seventy Years of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Alliance.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duchess of Cambridge, The Princess Royal and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Protector of the Anglo-Danish Society's Scholarship Programme, this evening attended a Dinner, in the presence of The Queen of Denmark, to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Society's Scholarship Programme at Drapers' Hall, Throgmorton Avenue, London EC2.
