Court Circular 22nd November:
The Duchess of Gloucester, President, this morning visited the Royal School of Needlework, Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, and was received by Mrs. Gillian Norton (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Academy of Music, this evening attended a performance of "Don Giovanni" at the Round Chapel, Lower Clapton Road, London E5.

Court Circular 24th November:
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Japan Society, this morning received Sir David Warren (Chairman) and Ms. Heidi Potter (Chief Executive Officer).

Court Circular 27th November:
The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Asthma UK, this afternoon attended the Thirty Fifth Christmas Fair at the Hurlingham Club, Ranelagh Gardens, London SW6, and was received by Mrs. Sandra Cahill (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Court Circular 28th November:
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Scottish Opera, this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Theatre Royal, 282 Hope Street, Glasgow, followed by a performance of "La Traviata".

Court Circular 29th November:
The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this evening attended the Gift of Sight Fair, in aid of the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital, at Chelsea Old Town Hall, King's Road, London SW3, and was received by Lady Arnold (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, and The Duchess of Gloucester afterwards attended the Annual Trustees' Dinner at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1.

Court Circular 30th November:
The Duke of Gloucester, President, this morning chaired a panel of judges for the British Expertise International Awards at 23 Grafton Street, London W1.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Japan Society, this evening attended a Reception at 101-104 Piccadilly, London W1.

Court Circular 5th December:
The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this afternoon received Lieutenant General Philip Jones upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel of the Regiment and Major General Ralph Wooddisse upon assuming the appointment.

The Duke of Gloucester, President, Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, this morning received Mr. Malcolm Thomas (Chairman) and Mr. Paul Burrows (Chief Executive).

Court Circular 7th December:
The Duke of Gloucester, Joint President, Cancer Research UK, this afternoon attended a Concert of Christmas Carols and Readings in Glasgow Cathedral and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Eva Bolander, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Association for All Speech Impaired Children, this evening attended a Christmas Concert at the Church of St. Andrew Holborn, London EC4.

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Army Medical Corps, this morning received Colonel Clifford Dieppe upon relinquishing his appointment as Representative Colonel Commandant and Colonel Mark Pemberton upon assuming the appointment.
Major Marie Ellis (Regimental Secretary) was present.

Court Circular 24th January:
The Duke of Gloucester, Joint President, Cancer Research UK, and The Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited the Francis Crick Institute, 1 Midland Road, London NW1.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Turn2us, this afternoon received Mr. William Colvin upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mrs. Sally O'Sullivan upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Association for all Speech Impaired Children, received Mrs. Linda Lascelles (Chief Executive).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, the Arts Society, this morning attended the opening of the "Rhythm and Reaction: the Age of Jazz in Britain" exhibition at Two Temple Place, London WC2.


Also:
We are delighted to announce that on 22 January, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester became the Royal Patron of Friends of Cathedral Music’s Diamond Fund for Choristers.
 
She always seems such a gracious and engaged presence in these photos. I like her style.
 
Court Circular 1st February:
The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this morning invested Professor Mark Compton (Chancellor of the Priory in Australia) as a Bailiff Grand Cross of the Most Venerable Order.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Spain.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner given by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation at Sea Grill, Puente Romano, Marbella.

That is really interesting to see.

Up until mid-January the visit to Spain for the Davis Cup was recorded in the FE but then it was taken down. I am pleased to see that she is going as it wouldn't be a British Davis Cup tie without the biggest supporter of the Davis Cup tennis team being in attendance.

The FE is all over the place sometimes. I tend to check them a day or two in advance, otherwise you never know what might be added or changed:bang:.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, today attended the Davis Cup Tie Matches between Spain and Great Britain at the Puente Romano Tennis Club in Marbella, Spain.

His Royal Highness later presented The Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade to Mark Roberts Motion Control Limited, Unit 3, South East Studios, Eastbourne Road, Blindley Heath, Surrey.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited North Downs Specialist Referrals, the Friesian Building 3 and 4, Brewerstreet Dairy Business Park, Brewer Street, Bletchingley, Surrey, to mark their Tenth Anniversary.

The Duke of Gloucester this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Malawi.
Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd is in attendance.

Court Circular 12th March:
The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon arrived at Lilongwe International Airport and was received by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malawi (Her Excellency Ms Holly Tett).

His Royal Highness afterwards attended the Commonwealth Big Lunch given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malawi at the Residence in Lilongwe.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, later visited the Mama Na Mwana project in Kauma, Lilongwe.

His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Meeting on Illegal Wildlife Trade given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malawi at the Residence.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Lilongwe Wildlife Trust, this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the Trust’s Tenth Anniversary at Lilongwe Wildlife Centre, Kenyatta, Lilongwe.

The Queen this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Day Observance Service in Westminster Abbey. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Henry of Wales, The Duke of York, The Princess Royal, Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy, The Countess of Wessex and The Duchess of Gloucester were also present.
