Princess Alexandra of Kent and the late Sir Angus Ogilvy Part 1: July 2003-

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I'm not sure I like her in boots but I'm glad to see HRH is keeping well.

.

She IS prepared for winter!
How is the wheather in the Uk? Is it that cold?

The Cecil Beaton pics are wonderful, Madjenn and the
newest pics of Alexandra walking through the countryside
are really funny as to her clothes :) Thanks a lot for
posting!

This one is funny as well:

It is disgraceful that Alexandra only has one tiara, and not even a family heirloom. She gets the Order of the Garter but can't get a royal tiara with some royal provenance?

.

Princess Marina left the major pieces to her boys-Greek tradition. The husbands should provide jewels to their wives!

Any pics of Princess Alexandra at the Royal Star & Garter Home in Richmond on Thursday?

It must be Greek tradition. Even though Marina married into the British Royal Family, an institution (as she surely noticed) that has been marked by many great kings but just as many powerful women.

Princess Alexandra and her late husband Angus Ogilvy, were always some of my favourite members of the British royals. They had a lot of trouble with their daughter Marina, but their son James is a handsome level-headed young man.

Any pictures

Are there any recent pictures of thier children?

Princess Alexandra is very much an elegant lady - like her beautiful mother, the late Princess Marina; as well as like her formidable great-grandmother, Grand Duchess Marie Pavlovna.
The epitome of class.

Princess Alexandra is aging beautifully and is always so elegant.

Princess Alexandra visited Northern Ireland yesterday:

HRH Princess Alexandra attends the Prince’s Trust lunch at Hillsborough Castle

Thursday 23 October 2008
Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra has visited Hillsborough Castle to attend a lunch in support of the Prince’s Trust.
The Trust reaches out to young people aged between 14 and 30 years of age who are typically unemployed, educational under-achievers, ex-offenders or leaving care, and helps them through a range of projects to get their lives working again.

Thank you Marengo, I never would have known except for TRF. I like PA a lot, has she visited Northern Ireland before

Princess Alexandra is now in Thailand for an official visit. She had an audience with the King and Queen on Saturday and on Sunday attended Remembrance Service at the British Embassy. I believe it is her first overseas visit in quite a while. But sadly, no coverages yet at all.

I think Alexandra is one of the most elegant members of the royal family. she consucts herself well, and is aware of her role as a supporting member of the royal family.
