Thursday 23 October 2008
Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra has visited Hillsborough Castle to attend a lunch in support of the Prince’s Trust.
The Trust reaches out to young people aged between 14 and 30 years of age who are typically unemployed, educational under-achievers, ex-offenders or leaving care, and helps them through a range of projects to get their lives working again.

Princess Alexandra is now in Thailand for an official visit. She had an audience with the King and Queen on Saturday and on Sunday attended Remembrance Service at the British Embassy. I believe it is her first overseas visit in quite a while. But sadly, no coverages yet at all.

I think Alexandra is one of the most elegant members of the royal family. she consucts herself well, and is aware of her role as a supporting member of the royal family.

Thanks for the pictures .. she still looks royal.
I was in England the day of her wedding and I rememder people slipping on the pavement the day before her wedding to be sure to see her..
She was then the only young royal Princess with Margaret and Katherine.

Here are two nice pics of a very young Princess Alexandra:

Princess Alexandra in 1950 aged 13, as a pupil at Heathfield
School in Berkshire, UK.

** Pic 1 ** Pic 2 **

In that first pic her smile reminds of someone else in the family,
but at the moment I can't tell who it is .

iceflower, I think she looks like the young Queen Elizabeth II in that photo. That's not a resemblance I spot very often in her...

Its lovely to see HRH. She works so hard and it's rarely picked up by the news agencies.
