Good point on Kate. The job market isn't that difficult to get at least an entrance level position. Either she is very picky about exactly what she wants to work at, or isn't particularly interested in getting serious work.

I'll take answer number two: isn't particularly interested in getting serious work. :p

She is, after all, a young person enjoying the thrill of having a prince for a boyfriend. Still, she could do some charity work next to him as escort, kind of to break her into the routines for the future. They are destined to be a golden couple, unless someone convinces the spectacular Charlotte of Monaco to bewitch William away from her. That would be a paparrazi dream come true, and a dream match for us. The Windsors could use that DNA well.

She can't accompany him on official duties as they are not "officially" together (if you know what I mean). As to Charlotte, I don't know if the Windsors would be prepared to trade her DNA for a paparazzi dream, or TRF members' wish fulfilment for that matter! ;)

First, love your avatar. That reminds me I got to start cooking some new avatars myself since my blue town of Toledo coat of arms (the doble headed imperial eagle) was for the winter season.

On Kate and Will, they live together, and I can't wait for the Queen to authorize making it official. I mean, not the Queen on the balcony saying officially "Yep, they are living in sin!" but officially saying they are engaged. Although the image of the queen screaming to the paparazzi at the balcony would be hilarious. :D
And on DNA, I do hope Kate's genes get rid of that Windsor dental over byte for the next batch of little Windsors! :)

A special avatar for a special occasion: the christening tonight (my time) of Infanta Leonor.

I would have thought you'd have the various season's avatars already planned and hanging in the wardrobe ready to be brought out at the appropriate time. :D

I collect and scan the pictures, but finding the time to work is another thing. I got to many things on my plate from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. I need 48 hrs days instead of 24 hrs. The time I get to do something for me, like graphic design just for the sake of it, is almost approaching midnight. But I'll cook up some new avatars in advance and I'll mail you the surplus as a donation to RForum. You guys have been good to me and my friends. It's the least I can do. I got some nice ideas on arabian, asian an african royal themed avatars I'm sure some of our pals will love to get their hands into. I'm also scanning great pictures of long gone royals from my old artbooks to 'avatarize' them.
But not yet :)

God, everybody loves Leonor!!!:)
Well she's a real cutie, so I believe the Leonor season of avatars is coming full force courtesy of the Royal Forums members;)

BTW, aren't we getting a little out topic?

Kind of :p
So, back to Chelsy and Kate: My wild guess is that Kate has more chance to becoming Royal than Chelsy. Unless Chelsy gets pregnant. Somehow, I'm afraid it could happen in an Albert-of-Monaco-style.

Now, just about Chelsy:

...I think we are being too harsh on Chelsy. She's what 20 and she's in her first serious relationship loet alone with Prince Harry and with that comes the added pressure of paparazzi and media scrutiny. Let's give her a break. I'm not saying I don't like her fashion choices but to base her personally on that isn't fair. Harry probably likes her because she is carefree like himself so maybe thats why he is attracted to her. We shouldn't call her trash because it isn't fair to her or Harry.

Comparing these two is wrong beecause they are 3 years apart, both brothers probably have different taste in women so maybe thats why Kate and Chelsy are so different and finally nobody likes to be compared to anyone any to judge someone based on apperances and gossip isn't right. How do we know that Kate is like what we think chelsy is like and vice versa.

You are right, Kaydura, sometimes we are harsh on one when we compare it to the nearest equivalent for a royal bride. So, sorry Chelsy!
But I also think this, if I had two teen boys and one of them came home with wild Chelsy as a girlfriend, I would be concerned. Although any parent with girls would also be concerned if one of them came home with Harry, wild as he is!

Charlotte cannot marry into the BRF because she is catholic but it would be a royal match made in tabloid heaven.

I don't think they'll fall for eachother. Besides the religion thing I don't see a union between them happening.

Yes, which makes me think they're made for each other, Toledo. :D Despite what one thinks of Chelsy, you have to admit she and Harry have a lot in common. But party girls and boys can calm down so I think it will be interesting to see who calms down first, Chelsy or Harry.

kate is beautiful and chelsy ugly and fat

that is mean! she's not fat at all and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. and while I dont care much for chelsy i'm sure harry thinks she's beautiful and sees something in her that he likes.

Match made in heaven, well, if there's a pub name 'heaven'. When you think of it and exchange the girls between the boys (Harry + Kate and Will + Chesly) you notice each couple settled with the one more like the partner's personality.

On Charlotte, she would be lost with that gang of young British aristocrats they party with. She seems so delicate, almost frail compared to the British equivalents like Zara and the Duke of York girls. Like fine wine meets keg party.
The Monaco kids are so different than the Windsor kids that is like paralell lives in two different planets. Have anyone seen them ever together in one activity anywhere, like Andrea meeting William?

Chelsy is not ugly, each royal girlfriend from Britain to Monaco to Luxembourg has a different style of beauty. Besides, most of the time we see them in informal pictures with hardly any make up or just dressed like teens do these days: comfortable. Doll her up Sabrina style and she will turn heads at any gala event.

Hmmm, I never said anything about the heaven part, toledo. :D But I can see a kid like Harry going for a girl like Chelsy. Who knows if they'll stay together but we'll have fun watching them.

I never thought of the Casiraghi's as being particularly delicate though. Monaco has always been somewhat racy. I think Charlotte could hold her own among the Windsors though I think the dreary English weather would put her off.

Caroline's children seem meant for lots of sunshine.

In one respect at least Charlotte Casiraghi would fit in very well with the Windsors... she's into horses. That means immediate entrée into the inner sanctum. :)

How true. She'd hit it off with Zara.

are kate and Chelsy both protestants? Do we even know their religion?

"And Kate is a living example of what people would do just to marry a prince, even sacrificing freedom of speech and the right to personal opinion.Pretty much becoming a puppet, which Kate is pretty good at."

How exactly has she sacrificed her freedom of speech? I've seen you criticise her in the past for speaking out against the paparrazzi, so you seem to be contradicting yourself.

lol good 1 toledo
i'm partial to Kate but she is older and seems to have had a good upbringing. I just hope both princes marry for love and have a good fulfilling marriage.

I know, that was mine, I needed an entry to my punchline :) . I guess you figured out my bad habit of writing posts like a columnist, I have to round up the message with a joke somewhere within the post. ;)

CD-1, you bring up something interesting, I forgot about the religion issue with these two candidates for royal brides. Anyone knows?

In the relationship between Chelsy and Harry, Will and Kate, the first couple is the unbalanced one. Point being that I suspect it's Chelsy the one who pulls the strings on Harry, she seems to be the one in control of this young and inmature man so it's more difficult for him to let go of her even if he wanted to. She will pull him back, unless a new and more aggressive lady came along. The fact that this is the type of mate Harry goes for speaks volumes on what goes on in his mind. A lot of confusion and a lot of anger. Chelsy seems to be the one that understands him the best.

In contrast, what I see of Kate and Will is one even match, he is in control and she tags along but is also ready to take control. I'm telling you, she is perfect for a future Royal Consort. I have that DVD, The Lost Prince, and when I think of Kate I get a glimpse of Queen Mary's relationship with the King George V trying to live a simple life amidst all the fanfare. She was like his support system from what I got from the movie bio and other readings about them. Kate seems to be that raft for Will to hold on to if he gets a paparrazi panic attack like his brother Harry does. And, for these two young men, that paparazzi scar runs deep. Like the mark on the fictional Harry Potter character, the sight of paparazzi around them could be enough to bring back memories of their mother's tragic end as she was hunted down the streets like a human safari.

But Kate balances William out. The curious thing is Camilla has or seems to have the same effect on Charles. I've never seem him (Prince Charles) happier, stable ever before as he is now. If Kate can pull that off, more power to her as the next consort Queen Katherine (or is it Catherine?)

I honestly just hope that they marry for love and not an arranged marriage.

I hope it is for love and probably will be.

Hmm, if Wills marries Kate it probably will be for love. She doesn't have an aristocratic or royal background so for the job of princess, if the BRF is going to arrange any marriage, they'd arrange marriage with someone that has that background.

But I think the family is out of the business of arranging marriages by now. It doesn't work. Not to say that marrying someone for love is a sure guarantee that Wills and his bride are going to live happily ever after either. People fall in love, get married and get divorced at an alarming rate nowadays.

His best bet is to wait a while till he grows up some more and knows what he wants.

Exactly what i was thinking, ysbel! Time is the best thing for them.

If I had to pick between Chelsy or Kate I would with out a doubt pick Chelsy. The girl is REAL. She seems like a teenager. I don't know what is wrong with Kate. I mean is she against smiling or whatever? If she is trying to keep William and her relationship on the low, it's not working. Her whole attitude makes her seem RUDE.At least Chelsy has the decency to smile or look away from the camera. And when she keeps her and Harry's relationship on the low, it's really on the down low. Kate in my opinon, has a HUGE attitude problem. She just seems very arogant!

I Do as well :) I Think Kates Relationship with William will go very far

I like both. Kate and Chelsy are both discreet. Chelsy might not have been in the beginning but I haven't heard her mention anything personally about their relationship. Any information we've heard is from "inside sources" and none of that is truly reliable. I don't think Kate is against smiling. There are a lot of pictures of her smiling when she's with friends/family and at the horse-racing event (sorry forgot the name). She doesn't seem to smile when she's out alone getting onto a bus or running errands. I don't think anybody really does. I think Chelsy's cute. She smiles and acts the way she wants. For Kate being more mature than Chelsy, well she's around four years older. When transitioning from your teens to young 20's many people mature quite a lot. They realize that school is almost over and they're about to enter the real world. Kate may have been more "wild" in high school/college (mooning boys, running down a catwalk in linergie, etc.); who knows? Kate dates William; Chelsy dates Harry. All are happy. :)

you can't even really compare the two, personality wise...they're totally different in that department...chalk and cheese. chelsy is young and a little rebellious by nature and kate is older, more mature, more low key.
i don't find Kate rude at all. IMO she comes across as mature and isn't leading the press into believing or disbelieving that there's anything more than a lovely relationship going on between 2 people. she's damned if does and damned if she doesn't. if she acknowledged the camera's then she'd be accused of taking advantage.

For arguments sake, let's say William decides to marry right after his time at Sandhurst and he is completely in love with Kate, she is the one, I must say that she is much more well suited to be a royal. She presents herself to be confident, relaxed, well adjusted, and mature. She also seems like a kind girl who makes William incredibly happy.

Chelsy, on the other hand, from what I've read about her, is not. She seems to be the complete opposite of easy going Kate. So far, Chelsy has received so-so to not so well in favor press. From my point of view, Chelsy, if Harry were to marry her within the next year, is extremely unsuitable to be a Princess. She reminds me of Koo Stark with her behavior.
