Hey guys,
I started a thread in the British Royal Family folder, called "Royal Family Christmas". It has pics from this year's Sandringham Church Service.
Check it out...

Going to church services two days running was just a coincidence.
They annually attend the Christmas Day service, which was a Saturday this year; but the Sunday morning service (which they attend each week, I think?) coincidentally fell the following day.

Do you know which British Royals usually attend the Christmas Service in Sandringham?I only see The Queen,The Duke,The Wales,The Yorks,The Wessex,Princess Annes family, and the late Princess Margaret's children.I have never seen The Kents and The Gloucesters there.Or they attend with their famillies.

As far as I know, the Kents and Gloucesters do not go to Sandringham at Christmas time now days. That's why the Queen has a family Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace prior to moving to Sandringham, so that the wider family can get together. The Queen's broadcast this year showed some clips from that day.

Before the Queen's children and cousins started producing their own children, I think it was traditional for the Gloucesters and Kents to join the Queen for Christmas, but now the extended family is so large and the Gloucesters and Kents also have larger families, the Sandringham Christmas is just for the Queen's and Princess Margaret's own families.

I found a picture of Christmas 1985! It's dark, but if you increase brightness and contrast of your monitor you will see that it's the same colour. And the same shape, it has three buttons and so on.
