Paragraph breaks. The new CC makes me long for the good old fashioned hard return.
Thanks for all you do Iluvbertie. :flowers:

I got so happy to see this :D I really hope it works out so you comfortably can continue doing it because I really appriciate it :D

I'm also throwing in my voice on this. Your wonderful tallying of the engagements and all the different factors of them serves to remind us of just how much the BRF does.

Weekly update to 28th April, 2016

I would like to explain that there may be some differences between this week’s version of last week’s figures as there were some late additions to the CC for last week. There was one day when there were events in the CC and then three or four days later there were additional engagements listed. Normally this is done as an addendum to the next day’s CC but they just appeared – maybe still some teething problems with the CC since they changed to the new site.

Types of Engagements – to 28th April, 2016

A note about ‘investitures’. Normally I mean the sorts of things that the Queen, Charles and William do when they give awards to notable Britons but … in Masonic orders the term used for the installation of new office bearers for the new year is also ‘installation’ and the Duke of Kent does attend such events. I will note the Duke of Kent’s Investitures I will put an ‘M’ beside the number for Investiture.

I quite enjoy the fact that Louise and James were mentioned in the court circular for their engagement to the zoo with their parents. Louise wasn't listed the day after when she was with Sophie in London though which was odd. They normally only get listed if they attend a service (eg Jubilee service etc.) so I was pleased to see them listed.

Did George get credit for meeting the President of the United States?

No - other than William and Kate's wedding and their births I have not seen Louise and James in the CC before.

FAILURE of British Monarchy Website to UPDATE CC

The weekly failure of the British Monarchy website: NONE (I think. There was nothing listed for the 30th April but I have read that there is now no Times online version of the CC so I won’t be able to find out now if there are days on which the official website doesn’t have information that is listed in the print edition.

Missing dates from earlier in the year: NONE (none up to the end 28th April according to the former online Times but … dates since then for which I can’t be sure will be listed from now on – it is possible that there were no engagements that day but I don’t have the back up information any more).

Nothing listed for: 30th April.

Types of Engagements – to 5th May, 2016

A note about ‘investitures’. Normally I mean the sorts of things that the Queen, Charles and William do when they give awards to notable Britons but … in Masonic orders the term used for the installation of new office bearers for the new year is also ‘investiture’ and the Duke of Kent does attend such events. I will note the Duke of Kent’s Investitures I will put an ‘M’ beside the number for Investiture.

I'm happy you're still keeping up with this even with all the new changes abounding. Your work goes into more depth as to who does what, why, where and how and its greatly appreciated. :flowers:

I just glanced at the Royal Diary. There are Garden Parties both at Buckingham Palace and St. James Palace tomorrow.
The former is the standard large garden party we all enjoy so much.
The St. James palace event is with The Duchess of Cornwall for the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association. :flowers:
