Weekly update to 22nd October, 2015

One of the busiest weeks of the year with Harry having a one day visit overseas while at the same time Anne, Edward and the Duke of Gloucester were also making visits to North America and last weekend the Duchess of Gloucester was also overseas. There were no engagements for Camilla which may suggest that she is already in a warm/hot climate to acclimatise for her upcoming visit down under.

Eugenie also did an official engagement this week. These are the sorts of engagements that the Michael’s of Kent do – fill up the royal roster for a mass event. Beatrice has done this in the past but as she is now reportedly working in NY while Eugenie is in the UK it seems that it is now Eugenie’s turn to do one or two of these a year.

Weekly update to 12th November, 2015

A very busy week with 159 engagements all up. Of course the Festival of Remembrance and the subsequent Remembrance Sunday events accounted for many of these. According to the CC the Duchess of Kent attended the Festival of Remembrance which means that the only ‘working’ royal who was in the UK who didn’t attend that event was Harry. Beatrice and Eugenie also didn’t attend but they aren’t listed on the CC as ‘working royals’ anyway. Charles and Camilla were in New Zealand of course. This is the first time the Duchess has attended any event officially since the 2013 Coronation Anniversary Service.

Sophie was quite busy while overseas while Charles and Camilla undertook their engagements Down Under even adding an unscheduled event – their meeting with the All Blacks on the first of their two days off during their visit.

This is sterling work you are performing for us on TRF, Iluvbertie, with the collating and weekly updates. It's all very interesting.

Sorry for the delay this week but I have hit that time of the year when I am marking exams, writing reports and 'turning over' programs. As next year is a 'registration' year for our school I have to do all units for all courses and we have a new course and evaluation of a new syllabus across four years to do - taking all my time both at work and at home (and I am still teaching of course). This week will simply be manic but should settle next week a bit and then I am on summer holidays so will definitely be back on track.

I haven't even had time to check the updates for last Friday onwards but what I needed for the most recent update was available and just need to find the couple of hours to analyse to put together the information in the excel spreadsheets and copy across to word,

^^^Take care of what you need to do Iluvbertie. Having been in your shoes at the primary level I understand how time consuming those tasks can be.

Weekly update to 19th November, 2015

Now that I am on school holidays for the next seven weeks I will be able to catch up the last three weeks so bare with me over the next few hours as each week is analysed and added here if you will. For anyone in Australia who is wondering why I am on school holidays so early - I teach at an independent school and we have longer holidays than the state or Catholic systemic systems - higher pay, longer work days and longer holidays.

A fairly standard week with 110 engagements including Charles and Camilla ending their tour Down Under and Andrew in Vietnam. Nothing really stood out as ‘special’ or ‘noteworthy’.

Weekly update to 3rd December, 2015

This week there were 128 engagements with Harry starting the week in southern Africa for a few days and others doing the usual types of events in the UK while the Duchess of Gloucester attended a range of events around the final of the Davis Cup – watching the matches and dinners etc.

I will try to get the final missing week up later tonight Sydney time - but I might be busy celebrating. Anyone in NSW may know that today the HSC exam results came out (the equivalent of A-levels in the UK or NEWTS in the Harry Potter universe) and I have students in the top bands in the three subjects I teach for the first time ever - one on 49/50 for History Extension, another on 93/100 in Modern and the first student on 99/100 for Ancient. There are others in Ancient but I have never hit the treble before so I am stoked.
