I would also like to remind people that if there is a difference between the breakdown and the total it is because there are times when an engagement is worded something like: 'HRH aaa visited xxx and then attended a dinner'. When this is at the one venue this is counted as one engagement but in the identification of types of engagement I am identifying both activities. An exact example of this would be Her Majesty, escorted by the Chairman, and His Royal Highness, escorted by the Principal, listened to a performance by the a capella choir in Bradenstoke Hall, viewed displays of students' project work, and met students, members of staff, governors and supporters in the Great Hall. which I count in the weekly totals as 1 engagement for each of The Queen and Philip while for the above list I register this as Performance, Viewed and Met People.

A reasonably busy week with 115 engagements all up. It was also a busy week for people going overseas with The Queen, Philip, Charles and Camilla all ending the week in France while Andrew went from an official visit to Germany for the 300th anniversary of the House of Hanover inheriting the British Crown and from there going straight to Canada while Edward visited Poland. William was also doing a few engagements and Kate and Harry joined him at a Forum for their combined charity.

The "league" table shows Edward as the 4th "hardest worker" (and his wife being the 5th) of the family yet he is viewed as being lazy and not earning his keep. It's amazing how much the press ignore the lesser Royals. If he was hounded by the press like William was, the public would see how hard he and his siblings work and how little his nephew works. Typical British press.

I am always in awe of how many engagements Anne does as well!

Weekly update to 19th June, 2014

A reasonably busy week with Trooping and the Garter adding engagements for most of the family but the total for the week isn’t all that great because the days are long and only one engagement is actually recorded. I did note that William was the only ‘Senior Colonel’ who didn’t attend the Senior Colonel’s Conference and Dinner hosted by Philip the night before Trooping but he did attend a meeting with Charles for the Princes Council. He has accompanied Charles to meetings like this before.

Iluvbertie: There was press this week that the Duchess of Cambridge had made private visits to several Hospices last Month (May).

Did you happen to notice if these were included in the CCs you looked at? I checked royal.gov and they are not in that listing of the CC.

Private visits aren't listed in the CC and so don't count in the official lists.

The only things that Kate has done this week are: Trooping, Garter and the visit to Bletchley Park for a total of 4 (Garter included a lunch given by The Queen and Philip)

Only The Queen and Philip attended Ascot officially according to the CC.

Presenting an trophy isn't counted either normally.

I haven't seen the CC for Friday or Saturday yet so there may be a mention of a trophy presentation on one of those two days but attending is recorded as:

'HM The Queen, with the Duke of Edinburgh, honoured Ascot Races with her presence today.'

No one else is mentioned as attending - unlike Epsom where others are listed as attending with The Queen.

Problems with the CC have taken a new turn. The Times, both online and paper copy, have not printed Saturday.s engagements.

These were in the forward engagements section of the Royal website but that of course has cleared down.

HMQ and DoE were at Ascot, EoWessex did 2 engagements, Anne was at a parade for the military and P Alexandra had another engagement in Washington DC on behalf of Sightsavers.

The Royal website isnt showing these on their CC at the moment.

Edward attended a Garden Party for the Most Worshipful Company of Gardeners, and then a Charity Concert for the Orpheus Charity Trust

Anne attended the Freedom of the City Parade , connected to 350th anniversary of Royal Marines

PA attended at luncheon.

Im hoping that the paper might update tomorrow or even the Royal site.

The CC online that I access hasn't been updated for the 20th, 21st, 22nd or 23rd (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) with all days returning a 'no results'.

Honestly you would think that their PR department were amateurs with the way they have stuffed this up so often this year.
