The Queen looks lovely in the red and white dress, if a little bit 1960s. Has anybody seen any other pictures of C&C at the garden party?

I love the dress the duchess worn, but i wish she would change up on her shoes. It seems like she is always wearing those same shoes.

They are probably comfortable. The royals do seem to have to stay a long time on their feet.

The Royal Family: The Business of the Monarchy

The British royal family has a very private personal life but a very public profile. The queen and family members follow a heavy schedule of activities that range from the charitable to the commercial.
In the documentary "The Royal Family," anchored by Barbara Walters, ABC News offers a never-before-seen glimpse at the most famous royalty in the world -- the royal family of Great Britain.

From Queen Elizabeth II to Prince William and Prince Harry, the documentary crew from RDF USA filmed the British monarchy for more than a year, and was given unprecedented access to the working monarchy and its private spaces.
Culled from hundreds of hours of footage of the queen and her family in both public and private settings, this special marks the first time in the history of the British monarchy that anyone has been allowed such access.

I can't believe they're running that Barbara Walters special again, with no new footage or information. It just wasn't very good, although I'll probably wind up watching because I'm a royals addict and there's nothing else on. (Couldn't Barbara have found an addictive swine and asked her, "How do you feel being compared to Sarah Palin?")

Just finished watching 2 hours of the royal show available on youtube.com on a special program of the Barbara Walters' hosted "20/20" on the ABC network. All "stuff" that has already been wholly discussed here on the RF.

Still it was a well spent 2 hours.

Have to say I enjoyed seeing the coverage of Her Majesty's trip to Washington, D.C. and George Bush's white tie State Dinner and the faux pas of him saying HMTQ was around in 1776!

Default Royal Security to be cut

This article is about cuts to be made to the security of the so-called minor royals.

Great. Tell the terrorists and others that they have a better opportunity for causing mayhem. Wouldn't this sort of thing normally be kept secret?
