I think it was probably intentionally disrespectful. The Blairs don't seem to think monarchies are worth having.

Could it be to honour Prince Phillip and Prince Charles, as they are, as far as I understand, Navy guys?
I cannot understand whether King Harald wore the British or Norwegian uniform... Does anyone know?

I will say MM was unsure of herself, and how to do according to the official protocoll, "the rules of the game". MM is a Royal Higness and Crown Princess, and Camilla a Duchess. Official it was not correct. It would have been otherwise if everything was private. But both Camilla an MM seems to like eachother well so I presume it doesn't matter. ( I assume both the Brittish and Norwegian Royal courts will have to forward some information to MM and Camilla later on...)!
Camilla is also a crown princess and royal highness; she just isn't using the title in her day-to-day life on account of recent history. In reality, and as far as the other royal families are concerned, she's HRH The Princess of Wales, and Mette-Marit was probably just acknowledging that.

Well, I agree it was not respectful at all. But it wasn't worse then what one could expect from any politician. Norwegian politicians are doing worse "at home". (I'm sorry to say...) :(

I can see in some of the excellent Brittish websites about Royals some of them give the couple title TRH Charles and Camilla, but in the Royal courts official site one can read this:

"After the wedding, Mrs Parker Bowles became known as HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. When The Prince of Wales accedes to the throne, she will be known as HRH The Princess Consort".

Isn't HRH Crown Princess XX "above" HRH The Duchess of XX when we speak about official protocolls? I'm just asking - no offending!

I heard that Princess Astrid will undertake engagements together with Their Majesties and Their Royal Highnesses as well on this visit, but its the second day already, anyone see her?
Here some other pics of yesterday's The Queen's Gallery visit and The King and The Duke of Edinburgh from Getty Images:
You can see The Duke and The Duchess of Gloucester from there and The DuUke of Kent as well, but i dont know hy the State Banquet not seeing them.:(

Yes, it is, but there's a difference between being something and being known as something. She IS Princess of Wales; she's KNOWN by one of her lesser titles. The fact that people refer to her as Duchess of Cornwall doesn't alter the fact that she's Princess of Wales.

I was just wondering if there is a picture of the Crown Princess curtsying, it just seems from the pictures posted she bent her knee because she is taller then the Duchess.
