Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz consented to receive the family order of the state of Terengganu - Darjah Kerabat Terengganu Yang Amat Mulia Darjah Yang Pertama (DK) - in a ceremony that was held at Istana Besar Seri Menanti Kuala Pilah.
The family order was presented by Tengku Sri Bendahara Raja Tengku Mustafa Kamel, representing Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu.

Today King Tuanku Abdul Halim received Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib who presented him with the National Budget for 2013 at Istana Negara. The meeting was held prior to the budget presentation by the Prime Minister at the lower house of parliament.
