William and Kate have just touched down in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of the Malaysian state, Sabah.

ohh god, it hurts my heart just to think what they are going through, this trip as been wonderfull, but some jerks had to sell those pictures to a magazine!

It was quite impressive to see the Duchess today - head high, smiling - and why not - she has done nothing wrong. The two of them are quite protective of one another and that is lovely to see.

He sure could use it. In terms of Catherine's speech, I thought she delivered it just fine, and I think her passion came across rather well. No words.... The miracles of love and compassion! How can anyone with a heart not be moved by this?:heartflower: I don't know how to explain the " magic touch" William and Kate have in words, but I believe the best things in life are the things which cannot be explained.

According to the itinerary, it's a free evening. They attended an afternoon welcome reception and then they were off to their hotel.

Today's schedule goes like this

  • The couple takes a helicopter to Sabah’s Danum Valley where they will have a chance to meet Royal Society scientists and volunteers working in the rainforest, they will traverse parts of the jungle themselves.
  • Kate and William then head to a private lodge for lunch, their official engagements for the day completed.

I agree with you. However, I give them both credit for carrying on, and not making a fuss (at least not one that we can all witness). They're being supportive of one another, and that's what's important. Hopefully those that decided to take the pictures and then sell/publish them will get their punishment, and if not, then Karma will get them twice as badly.

I have nothing to add, because you've expressed it all perfectly.
 
You are right Daria. At least they do have eachother to talk to and we know that William is very protective of her. Its good to know they will defend eachother and they can count on eachother for moral support. Im sure William is probably fuming over this. In the end he will be her comfort and her strength.

Well the couple has now finished royal duties for the day and are spending some much needed quiet time together until tomorrow. And that means I'm off to bed night all. I'll see everyone tomorrow.

I hope 20 years from now W and C look at these photos and remember how beautiful it was in the Rainforest.

Ghost_Night, as usual, wonderful photos and updates! The rainforest pictures were absolutely gorgeous.

I have a couple of articles about the rainforest excursion. Some of the quips from Duke and Duchess cracked me up. It's nice to see that they're trying to be as upbeat as possible.
