El Alcazar - Segovia, Spain
El Alcazar is an impressive castle in that it rises in an almost surreal way near the heart of the city. The castle is steeped in history: Isabella married Ferdinand, in turn surrendering rights that led to the unification of Spain. El Alcazar is now easily the most picturesque area in Spain.
